The factor to remember if your aiming to stay on the lead lap is work out if the leader can force an extra lap or not. Easy to run out of fuel if they manage to do it, it happens on Monza a lot in the public lobbies.

Depending on pace it could be as much as 63 laps I think!

That would mean that the BMW could use 3.67L per lap and still have a single lap in the tank as a safety based on a single stop with two full tanks of fuel. Just then comes down to running an average of 2.19 per lap and keeping the tyres. Unlikely to see the pace that hot for the whole race but the numbers make it possible

Hi Robert,

some weeks ago I made a 2:19.xx in hotlap mode. I expect to drive in our race much slower, may be 2:21 or 2:22 on average. I dont think I can drive such a long race consistently. Never had a race longer than 60 mins. You can call me slow but I‘m looking forward to the race :)

I think there may be a few DTs with track limit violations, its such a long time to remain consistent and easy to misjudge some of Spas fast corners

I have so many pieces of paper and notes and random thoughts and possible equations jotted down, just lying around, I’ve forgotten what equations are what lol. My maths teacher once said: quote: “you’ll never amount to anything Clarke” lol when it comes to fuel efficiency he may be correct :)
But…. I now have a plan.

Fill it to the max and wing it

My lap times are nowhere near you front guys, so that’s not my race, my race is to finish as near to that as I can possibly do, this requires staying out, so the fact I’ll do less laps is actually in my favour, may have to tweek maps the very last laps or an unscheduled splash dash.

Just avoiding DTs and you never know, I’ll be surprised if I can avoid the odd track limit warning

2.4 Drivers briefing
The track isn't rammed so it should be easy to find a gap for qualifying. Just keep an eye on the map if you are heading out of the pits as a car might be coming out the top of Raidillon.

Being a long race that we've all put prep work in for it's probably best to take it easy for the first lap, settle in then start to push. If there is a smash on the opening lap that involves 4 or more cars having their race ruined we'll restart. Just type restart in chat, if 4 messages pop up I'll know to restart.

I don't think there is anything else to cover really :)

Server issues
Some of you have already spotted this but we've been having server issues which now appears to affect ACC, AC and RF2 clubs. If the issue isn't identified and resolved by tomorrow evening we'll call off the event and reschedule. Fingers crossed it gets sorted before but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
