Thanks Iko again.
I'm trying to map a controller button to change tab on PC F1 and Fanatec Formula wheel. The most convenient button is RT but that also is used to edit car garage settings using 7 and 8.
I wondered what button "Special" is?? Can that be mapped to a wheel button?

This is what I do with my SF1000 with F1 games. I have mapped the game's 'UDP Action 12' to the button I want to use for Tab Change. This 'UDP Action 12' is actually the 'BUTTON_31' in the Tools settings (being good at math, you will notice that the 'UDP Action 1' is actually 'BUTTON_20' in the Tool's settings). I use the numbers, as most wheels numerate the buttons and do not use PS or XBOX names for buttons.

So this is how you do it with F1 games: Select one button on your wheel, which you want to use as tab change button. Now go to the controller settings in F1 23 (works in earlier versions and works on F1 24 too) and find the "UDP Action XX", you want to map and map it to the 'tab change' button on your wheel. To verify you have mapped the right button, go to the 'Raw Data' and press the chosen 'tab change' button. On top of the 'Raw data' page you should see the buttons 'in tool assignment'. If it is correct, then go to Settings and select the correct action for tab-change.

For PC2 you can just press the buttons to find which you want to assign for tab change. In AMS2 in addition to that you can also assign the DPAD up/down/left/right for tab change. In ACC/AC/rF2/R3E the options are bit more limited.

Cheers.

I have a question. When I drive several laps in PC2 during training, these are not displayed under the "Race Info" tab. There is a window where the lap times should/could be listed. Am I doing something wrong?

# EDIT: Fixed itself. Don't rly know why but now it works :D

Hello there, is it possible to have more than 32 drivers in the telemetry tool when playing Project Cars 2 ?
I will look into this.

I think I should be able to modify the Tool to manage max 64 cars for PC2. For this to work, you would have to use the relay/sharedmemory and still some data will be missing from drivers "at and above index 32", but nothing critical. Mainly the "is human" and "mp rating", but I don't think they are critical.

The fix/change will be in 14.2 version.

Cheers.

  • 64 for car support added also for PC2.
  • DRIVING: Modified bit how tyre temperature coloring works
  • STATS - option to customize, what data is shown
  • Fixed issues + improved the Race History loading...

Hey I have a Question/Problem. When i do Training and have the Tool running, my Inlap doesn't get timed and my from the first real Lap (after the Inlap) only the third sector gets recorded. After that (Lap 3+) everything works fine. I mean it's not a big Problem, but it might be a bug or am I doing something wrong? Btw love the new "Circle of Doom" added in the latest Update :)

Thank you for the feedback on the "Circle of Doom". I also think it is good way to visualize the gaps. I need to play more with it to see, what data would be usefull to add.

Regarding the issues, the first out lap is set by the game as L0, so the Tool does not do anything with that data to avoid some other issues. If you look closely, you will see that the real-time Telemetry gets updated, but if you change e.g. BLUE line during that lap, the data of that outlap is "lost".

For the inlap in training, sometimes the inlap might not get "completed", if the pitbox is before the start-finish line as there is no lap-changed moment. And when you drive out the data is bit wonky. I can check if doing inlap during the first two laps in training has something odd.

Cheers.
