PS: Are templates going to be made available at some stage?

Hey Nigal. I just got home from work and was going though the posts waiting for someone to ask about the template. Had to be you! First post here to and all. I've been keeping an eye on your renders over at AusFactor waiting in anticipation for your rendition of Murphy's Pepsi Max livery only to be disappointed so far. So were is it? Huh haha...... I see you've been busy putting carbon parts on your new bike after getting smashed up on the old one. Hope your mending well. Been awhile now, you back at work?

My regards to the rest of the Ausmoddlers team. Great mod to by the way.

Cheers.

Take care mate and hope to see you around the traps

Hey guys congratulations on the release. Looks good. Thought we were all robbed and was disappointed with just the base install then found the addon 2010. I can't comment on driving them because I haven't driven anything in quite some time and that would mean connecting the wheel. My only comment would be a couple of things you guys mentioned yourselves so I won't bother talking here. One thing though the rear wheels pop thru the guards in the Falcon but I'm sure you have a handle on that already - after all its a beta. Once again congratulations.

Here is my feedback from another topic. I repost it here.

"Hi guys, ORSM. I'd like to say that this would be one of the best mods ever, if some physical issues would be fixed. Like the diffuser. I change it in the upgrade menu, but nothing happens, all the same. And 1 serious problem is the weight feeling. I can't feel it. The car turns in a corner so easy with a default setup that i just blinked, like an F1 car. It must feel way heavier on track. You can feel it on the braking, but not in the corner. If these are fixed, i would check the tires and engine. I felt that the tires were not "wear". The temperatures were higher but not the wear and it was adhering. So as the engine. It was very high but nothing happened with the car.

The skins are beautiful, the outlook is fantastic. Never seen a mod so great like this. I wrote down what i felt and experienced while i was testing in Adelaide. (BTW i'm a huge V8 fan but from Europe, and i'm waiting for this so long, you couldn't imagine ).

I hope you won't misunderstand me. I wrote these to help you guys not to underestimate you all. I hope i could help. Really. I can't wait for the 1.0!"

"""Edit: I forgot to mention that i tried the 2010 version. Not the community."""

As mentioned on the other thread....

Diff is locked to tracks as per the real series. That's why it won't change..

We will collate the other feedback, and see if it is consistent.
You are the first to mention it

Thanks FlashQld. You sound much like me mate. I don't get much if any track time in either. To busy building them to drive them. haha... My wheel is set up right next to me on my driving cockpit so I do get to wipe the dust of it from time to time. haha.. Just upgraded to Windows 7 a couple of weeks ago so I did plug it in and installed the drivers for it. Tested it to make sure it all work fine and that's about it. Unfortunately someone suggested we release the 2011 season set ASAP so now we've got our hands full trying to get that do. Not much in the way of reference pics at this point after one round. Plus quite a few didn't have their correct liveries or drivers suits on being a none alcohol sponsored round. So want be getting behind the wheel for some time yet old friend.

Cheers and thanks for you support and help over the past few years.

No it stands alone from the old mod. You get both! how cool is that? We do recommend a fresh rFactor install though just to be sure you don't get any issues with it. Once you know it's up and running with no problems you can install it in your main rF install.

well id just like to congratulate the ORSM team for an amasing effort and job on this mod. This is a massive task you have all put in for. I can see the rfactor online severs full with v8 unleashed.
they are awesome to drive, and seem to handle so very well, its that total feel of wait wait wait, now full throttle.

Ive never driven a v8sc, but guys you have me locked tight to my wheel for months to come. Cant wait for several online series to start, and hopefully live my dream of racing a v8sc or as close to it i think ill ever get.

One quick ask for info. what about templates, will they be available soon?

thanks guys, great mod LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURVE it

The DREAM. It has arrived. Goodnight FVR!

It's ok, there is always one idiot in every crowd. Some are so small minded that they don't understand that if you give **** to modding groups long enough, they will all stop making content for the lazy assed $%^&-heads whom can't left a finger to do a thing themselves other than to bag someone. Awesome mate, don't turn on a TV anytime soon, the driver you don't like might win a race and you'll never be able to support motorsport again. Trent, go back to your hole and stay there.

I have brought over 70 cars to sim platforms and your comments make me want to stop.

This will be a great mod with lots of support, but does that mean that no other person or group should try to make the same series or even bother to make any series as it could never compare aye mate.

Good to see that your 3 post on RD was to piss off true members of this community and the sim & real life racing community! Is that a record?

edit: I expect to get told off in due course

Naughty boy Gunthar. How dare you talk sense around here:tongue:.

I tried FVR 2011 last week and I was impressed how far they had come from their first effort.

Yes V8Factor will be my V8 mod of choice in rFactor, but once FVR's Race On version is out it will be my choice for that sim and I'll be in debt to both teams for giving me these gems to play with:good:.
