Me trying out the Bottle-O Ford:).

Loving this mod after just 30mins behind the wheel:good:.

First off... Awesome work. Just love it.

I think I may have found a glitch though, unless I'm doing something wrong. It seems I still can't adjust my gearing in the Garage, even if I choose "Adjustable" ratios in the UPGRADES. I also still seemed to run out of gear down Adelaide's backstretch despite choosing "Long Gears" as well... Only the Bathurst diff seemed to actually make a huge difference, hitting the usual 180 down the straight at Mt Panorama.

It happens to both Fords and Holdens, and yes I have definitely BOUGHT the Differentials and INSTALLED them as well...

Another thing I didn´t figured out is the portraiyed seasons as of now.
There´s the Base Pack with all the Models from 2006 to 2010 I think. Then there´s the 2010 Season. Do I stand correct with the other Season 2007-2009 will be a community/ORSM painter task at a later Stage ? Didn´t get it from the readme.

Seasons will be released as add-ons in stages - first the patch for this beta and 2011 and then the previous seasons. In theory with the models in the mod they can go back to 2004.

The diffs are set to their real life settings. Just like the previous V8Factor.

Never mind, I get it. Sorry, you see "Customizable Gears" and you think you can change them, but it chooses both the tire and gears FOR you when you go to a given track. But if you go to a non-V8 track you can choose whatever you want.

It was a little confusing at first. ;)

Although I have to say, it's kinda of annoying running out of steam before Turn 9 at Adelaide. :/

Was Wondering if there is simple away to change the track upgrade defaults ie sprint tyres and Fuel tanks.

the only way I can see to do this is if the TrackconfigV8SC10.ini file was edited to match the upgrades I wanted

example being sprints, fuel tank and diff for Clipsal Changed to
"Adelaide":
Differential=4
Fuel Filler Side=1
Fuel Cell=1
Tyres=2

Would this file have to be changed on all People that run on our server or would the one on the server override users. Is there a way Im missing to enable this to work without going to these extremes as I want people to be able to join the server without modding anything but would like to give the options for sprint tyres etc

Thanks in advance

The config you have there forces sprint tyres only, fuel cell at 120 and diff at 3.15 (which is Bathurst). To set free choice just delete all lines aside from Differential=0. I'm pretty sure whatever the server is set to will override all user's settings. Remember that the track name must equal the Track Name in the GDB.
