what a race! thanks @Dean Maković for the pressure, I really felt it
No worries mate! I don't know what caused it really, it was pretty weird. Had to brake and roll through the corner to not hit you after the slide and was not even half on the throttle when the rear suddenly stepped out. I was pretty much flat out at that point in all other laps of the race without any issue. I'll blame it on the game, second time in a row it got me in the last 5 mins of the race in a good position. Also a bit my fault, my laptimes were crap for too long being too careful. After being upset about the spin I went nearly a second per lap faster to catch Dean and Jonas (too late unfortunately). Should have pushed earlier and you might not have caught up at all. But well deserved win, your race pace was way better than mine for most of the race.Great to be back racing again, but I do have to apoligies slightly to Michael for the Gilles Villeneuve'esque overtake late in the race, I didnt mean to drift my way past, the car stepped out under downshifting. I dont know if it caused you to loop it immidiately after, but if that was the case, sorry.
Sad to have missed this one, as Road Atlanta is my favorite track ever. I will try to get back to Friday nights racing with you guys.
