Race of Austria Preview
We head back to Lienz for the second Race of Austria. This lovely circuit has been modified for this year, adding almost 2 miles to the lap distance. Starting with a jaunt through the town, there is a long flat-out blast before the twisty mountainous bit. Exiting that, a decent wibbly straight before a tight hairpin that sends them wibbling towards the deadly sextuple chicane which caused so much carnage last year, but run in the other direction. Ben Utzer takes us for a lap.

I even watched the disaster you had @kedy89 Stuck behind Poirier for 4 laps, before Lapierre wiped out your rear wing :(

We had a new race winner for the season. Find out who it is soon ;)

2nd in qualifying in race it is possibly either 5th-Ret.

And now, here comes Milos to claim that the game is 'Broke'
Don't forget Benutzer, he'll claim it's broken because he has a good grid slot :D

Also good news, I might have found a way to implement car upgrades per team for Season 3. May being the word. I know how to do it for each team, I just don't know yet what values to change and how much.

If it's not me I'll consider to retire straight away.
I can see that you, Ron and Cristiano are in desperate need (or at least the most vocal) of a good result and I watch the races supporting you three.

In this race, I even used McNish to take Laad out of the race at half distance with a seemingly unstoppable 2 minute lead (not that my championship position is in jeopardy or anything, and if I lose the championship because of that, I don't give a smeg, because I'm trying to give others a chance)

There's no need to do such a thing and crash out yourself on purpose. I just don't see any reason to continue if the skill upgrades don't seem to have any effect. Last race for example, Steven who just rejoined and had basically no upgrades, and Belicchi took front row. I mean I have the best skills atm, but I get screwed in pretty much every race lately.

Even in RD Sim, this is the case, even if a driver upgrades, their qualifying position is random and their race position is as well.

Trust me guys, the upgrades do have an effect. It's just that the way that they don't change too much this year makes it seem not too outrageous as it did last year.

I do admit though that the AI do seem too strong and that Tobi has got brilliant skills and seems to do badly. I have no idea why to happens, and i apologise, but it is better than just having the same person winning all the races because they have great skills (which is why I wanted to take myself out of the race, or it'd seem like too much of a bloodbath)

Do you mean gp4? There's the variation what causes this, what can be decreased with purchases. And it's by far not as random as here.
Yes I do mean that, but I do think GP4's AI is very Random to be fair. If one is successful in a game, they won't mind, but if they aren't, then they will voice their concerns about their bad luck, I guess that's the way it happens.

I don't mind if I do badly when it's partly or completely my fault. In the gp4 sim for example, I made a risky sponsor choice this season, had bad luck in the first races, and now struggle a bit as I often missed out on the sponsor money. My fault, so I can't complain. I wouldn't complain here if I had worse skills due to whatever reason. But that isn't the case.

It is with me as well, but what can you do? ;)

Don't know what results you had this season, but looking at your current skills and your position in the standings, I wouldn't complain. Or were you talking about gp4?
Both, also GP4, if you can complain in 2nd, then I can in 5th mate ;)

You also have 6 Fastest Laps

Tobi does have a right to complain. his skills are similar and slightly better than mine, but his races are stuck in the midfield and drop back, whereas my car seems to Vettel away into the distance. The fact that the AI cars are still scoring points and podiums annoys me more though to be brutally honest.
