it's not down to not liking the video, i'm afraid, but he (me too) wanted to see a vid for the whole field of cars, not just two of them

i did that time trail 1.33 but im always 1-2 sec behind alien time lol atm in practice im around 1.34. 1.35

Briefing

The Barcelona 250

Welcome to the second round of RDSTL season 1. This race will be driven in Spain on Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona as it was in 2003. After the succesful held event at Zhuhai the drivers and teams are now up to the first of two long distance races in which they have to cover 250 kilometer as opposed to the 200 at Zhuhai. This test of stamina will take about 90 minutes. Good luck in sunny Spain!

Event: Barcelona 250
Track: Barcelona GP 03 (download)
Qualification: 19.30 GMT - 10 minutes (private superpole)
Warm-up: 19.40 GMT - 20 minutes
Race: 20.00 GMT - 54 laps (1 formation lap + 53 race laps)
Start procedure: Manual formation lap (see article 5.6 of the League Regulations)
Weather forecast: Dry (standard weather)
Server password: (Ask your team owner or check your RD GPCOS Control Center)

New Skinpack Released!

Yves Larose has been busy checking and solving the bugs in the previous skinpack (v1) and has now come up with a second version that includes the initial pack, the previous fixes and some new fixes. Unfortunately we muxt conclude that some bugs are inherent to the game. This means that some skins might not show properly in some occasion. This is for SimBin (the game developer of GTR Evolution) to fix. It is beyond RaceDepartment to deal with that.

RD GPCOS

Due to a bug in the tool that processes the results we can unfortunately not yet the displays the current results and standings in GPCOS. As soon as this gets fixed we will inform you abou this.

Incidents and Penalties of Round 1 (Zhuhai 200)

Division 1
Andreas Löffler vs. Andrius Sliumba
In the case of Löffler versus Sliumba the staff has decided that the incident was a racing incident for which neither of the two drivers can be held fully responsible, due to the rapidly changing situation the two drivers found themselves in just before the incident. No penalties have been inflicted.

Chris Rogerson vs. Hampus Jansson
In the case of Rogerson versus Jansson the staff has decided to inflict a 30 second penalty on Jansson for overtaking during the formation lap and not returning the position. The staff wishes to point out that overtaking during the formation lap is not allowed. Overtaking manoeuvres may only be made when the driver passes the start/finish line at the end of the formation lap.
