Tested the game again, and tried the Hyundai and Polo, and from the get-go I was competitive, did a 2.22 with the I20 and 2.20 with the Polo, no practice no nothing on those cars, for Stage 1.
For me a lot easier to drive but a lot less room for error with bigger speed.
So far so good, with the game/

Rally of two halves. Discovered the trick to not crashing 15 times a stage was, believe it or not, to wear shoes (makes my brain think I'm driving a real car so slows it down a bit) and by somewhere around the midpoint I was up to 31st overall, having finished within 10 seconds of the fastest car on two stages.

The second half of the rally, fatigue and wear on me and the car started to tell, a few little mistakes (partially from gaining confidence on re-runs of stages and pushing too hard) took their toll. Had multiple spins, one puncture, rolled the car once, and had to take three reset penalties because I could tell I'd overshot the apex in a location where I could easily shoot off the cliff and retire. Positively though, I finished one stage 14.5 seconds off fastest, despite having a half spin and ramming the end of a barrier head on.

45th overall on the PC side as it stands isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Onto the next one!

Rally finished!!
As I told before, not easy to drive this Sierra Cosworth Gr.A. Certainly a bit of fun in some stages :p ,but I think I prefer 4WD cars for these long rallyes....:D
I've done several mistakes, in 4th stage (rolled in the middle of the road :roflmao::roflmao:), 6th (touched spectators and a spin), and 11th (2 spins), and some minor issues, but in general, I'm happy to reach the end with the car in nearly one piece ;) .It's not easy to avoid any mistake in all 17 stages...and manage the tyre wear in some stages without service. The car is moving a lot, and it's difficult to drive it straight, but it's funny and of course, the same for everybody.
Very nice rally, awesome stages, and great championship we have!
Thanks to RD stuff for this RDRC:thumbsup:
Tomorrow,a highlights video to remember this first Round.

Rally done, I was going to save after SS7 but was running ok and enjoying the rally too much to stop. Had a good run through most stages, a half spin in SS10 was followed by a scrappy run through SS11, another half spin then clipped the rock face leaving me facing the wrong way, handbrake needed to correct so seconds lost and a cracked windscreen just in time for the night stages. I found it tough going in SS13 so backed off to be safe, but had a blast on the final daylight stages. Was in 41st overall at time of writing but with plenty of drivers still to run that will change no doubt. Huge THANKS  to the rally organisers and all the competitors, brilliant turn out, hope the numbers continue all season. :)

.....*CF* finished the stage....
Currently in 2nd position of RWD- but others like KingSmug doesn't finish yet so .....
No big dramas except at Day 3 in SS12 where a wall almost destroy my gearbox .... anyway i enjoyed this and that is the point...
Good luck to all participants....

My "Monte" is finished. Day 4 I recovered some positions and at the time I finished 32th overall. I am not satisfied, my goal was Top20. Congratulations to the best and see you in Sweden. Special thanks to the staff RDRC. Enjoy!

So unfortunately my GPU decided that I shouldn't finish this rally. This was the round where I could do the best out of all of them so I'm very disappointed, but there is nothing I can do except to wait for the next round and move on.... WD and congrats to all the other drivers ;)

First off, thanks to the organizers for their work on this series. The response to it has been incredible, and it is a testament to the effort you guys put into it.

My rally was mixed. A solid start and finish bookended what was a terrible middle. The first few stages were really great for me and my pace was better than expected with minimal mistakes.

However, in stages 6, 7, and 8 I made the same mistake in each stage. Running wide on a fast corner, bouncing off the wall into a half spin that put me nose first into the opposite wall. Not a huge time loss, but thing were going to get worse. A couple stages later I had one stage where I just could not get it together. Multiple spins, two car resets, and a general terrible display of driving.

I was able to turn one spin into a neat save: https://gfycat.com/RegularLonelyIrishsetter

The very next stage I hit the back end at the very start of the stage and blew out the tire. Since it was a rear tire I decided to press on regardless and only lost half the time I would have with a tire repair.

I was able to avoid tilt and salvaged the rest of the rally, and I had a nice string of stages to finish off a difficult Monte.

Didn't have any idea where I should be so I aimed for top 20 which quickly disappeared after realizing I was on average 10sec slower than the fastest time getting as close as 8 sec off on the shorter stages and 20sec on the longer ones. Overall never had any resets or tire punctures, only 1 spin and 1 real crash drifting into a truck off the exit of a corner.

Finished 34th overall as of right now but I imagine I'll drop back a bit.

WOW. so many skilled drivers! Gained a few places this last day! Ended at 18. place. The group-b car needs stability in braking and that is the most tricky part as I haven't much experience with this car. When I can use the engine to the max it's where it helps the most, like on this stage:

Nice day for driving!

Stage 17 didn't go as planned, lost at least five seconds because of a silly crash with the railing.

Heading for the last turn at high speed! What a great climb!

WOW. i am a bit worn out after running all stages pretty much back to back. My goal was to just finish. I had some scary moments where i almost didnt finish but somehow managed to keep it on the road. Not as focused as I could have been but, I feel pretty good about my first rally league event.

I might have been better off. ok I am nearly certain I would have been better off changing the tire but I had my stubborn hat on at the time. :)
