Some drivers participated in S1,2 and 3 will receive an invitation to join the league, after the invitations are send and replied the entry list will be updated. - driving standards
- commitment
- participation in previous RD leagues

This means that some people will be disappointed but that is unfortunately the downside of this system. We might open up a second server for a second group that will be the feeder series for the next seasons.

Absense

This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are allowed to drive the in league we expect you to be present during all races of the season. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Incidents

It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by private message. It must always contain:

o Name of the league: RDCCC S4
o The name of the reported driver (the violator)
o A link to a youtube or vimeo movie that shows the incident in various angles
o A short description of the incident, without rant.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 48 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

General League Rules

All the general league rules are written down in a document for the 2010 league season. Click here to read it! Additionnal rules or rule specifications might be added in the rule thread so make sure you read them and understand them.

Did better than expected having no practice beforehand. Did a few laps in official practice to get fuel consumption, but was way off, first stop filled up, second stop put 60L in and finished with 30L.

But just happy my connection stayed good this time.

Congratulations to the podium and Thanks to Yves for organising.

However, I do not think I will make it to the next race.

My home GP started not that well. In qualy did a silly mistake which i had never before in training. On Start/ Fininsh straight was too much on the left side, so came a bit on the gravel and this causes i couldn´t brake enought for the right. But my line was still ok, the speed not which i realised too late and so the car went wide and i got a warningt, qualy over . Stupid, cause if i had simply brake i maybe had lost a second but i´m sure had still start in the top 10.

Think started from 17th and had a good start, such good that i hit Eric in front of me who seemd standing too me, sorry for that. With that couldn´t use the good start but after first turn some went wide and passed some cars till turn 2. I was exerted too pass as fast as possible the slower guys to loose not so much to the front. After first lap think was on P11 and saw already the group with Dariusz. Hugo was between us who had already a good speed but a mistake allowed to pass me easily. Dariusz then wasn´t to overtake, i pushed hard but the gap out of corneres increased often that i hadn´t a chance.
With first stop i came out in front of Dariusz behind Martijn and Martin. Could close the gap and was also able to pass, was nice racing :good:. Till second stop i could open a 4 sec gap and notice i had only 8 sec to third which stayed constant.
Stopped earliest as possible and with that could stay in 4th and decreased the gap to third to 6 sec. Hoped maybe that with fights or anything else in front i could reach them but had to realise that now with older tyres i lost every round a bit. Finished finally 10 sec behind Jesper and 7 sec in front of Martijn on P4. A bit disappointing cause i think i had the pace to fight for the podium and annoying a bit Peter, Rami and Jesper  but with the worsest possible qualifying i´m very happy with the position, think was the best what i could reach from that.
:thanks: all for racing and cu till Detroit :airplane:.

Router started resetting itself halfway through watching MotoGP qually livestream on BBC webby, then it eventually ceased to come back on with constant flashing orange light,it came back around 7:45'ish for me to see the lobby saying it was race started, came to post my disgust in forums when i just started typing my post.....router went "click" and reset itself, unplugged router and turned PC off for the night,BT beware!!,its been all over the place since they done a recent "upgrade" and they say give it a few days for the line to settle in,the few days are up....

Sorry Yves & RD

Qually : 5th , not to bad.

Race : Had a good start, was on the outside of Duivelaar in t2 and managed to pass him going into the parabolika(little help from Dariusz' slipstream),and even passed Dariusz in the hairpin(Spitzkehre). Was pretty tight but pulled it off.
So after half a lap i was in 3rd spot behind Rami and Jesper.:D
It lasted only 1.5 laps and by then Duivelaar has got up with me again and made pretty much the same move in t2 to pass me.:frown:
I couldnt hang on to him,had a bit off oversteer, and he was quickly dissapearing out off sight.
Then Svrba was slowly catching me,must have been asking to much of the tyres the first few laps in my attempt to stay with the aliens.
And just as i was going into the pits for my first stop he was right on my tail.

He must have had a great pitcrew because he passed me in the pits,so when we hit the track again i was looking at his rearend trying to catch him.
With fresh rubber under my Camaro i really went for it and slowly started to catch him and because we were having a little fight ,Andreas (who was already behind us) was starting to catch up with us.
When Andreas really was on my tail i knew i had to make a move on Svrba so in the hairpin i went for it 100%,just overshooting the apex but still made it stick, pfff.
Was hoping that Svrba and Andreas would battle it out giving me a chance to create some sort of a gap but that didnt work out quite as well as Andreas quickly passed Svrba and once again was on my tail.
It was pretty clear that he knew his hometrack pretty well and it didnt take him long to pass me.
All i could do was trying to hold on to him but he was just to fast for me,grrr.
So he pulled a gap of a few seconds.

He made his 2nd pitstop 1 lap earlier than me and when i came out again the gap to Andreas was almost the same but i was just in front of Bob Hutchins who immidiattly made a pass on me in t2,but he overshoot the apex allowing me to take that place right back.
Slowly i pulled away from Bob Miley, who also passed Bob Hutchins as he ran wide going into the parabolika, but Andreas was also pulling away from me,sadly enough.
Hold the 5th place till the end off the race, behind Andreas and in front of Dariusz.

Overall had a great race with some very nice fights.
Thank you all for the fun and Yves for creating this great Championship.
Also big thanks to RD for the server time, sadly the broadcast didnt work as planned as it would have been a great race to watch i think, beeing it for the top spots or further down the field.

So see you all next round guys, untill then :Cheers :D

we will finish the season with the mod, the reasons being that i think we own it to Gunthar for his hard work for it, the skinning part as we don't have the templates for the car yet and don't know when we will have them and finally i have no clue about fuel usage and tyres wear for the new car and i almost forgot not everybody will be able or want to buy the game but next season for sure thats the car we'll be driving.

We're going to use this car for this season, or will we finish the season with the mod we have right now?

Nice vid Yves, like Chris said, lovely enging note also looks as tho the car handles nice. I knew when I saw the shots of the car in the release that it would be on teh agenda for next season, looking forward to it. Now just need to buy the game soon.

Ok Rami, then we all get the new one and you stay with the old one next season

Surely, a test club event is on the cards Boss.. lol.
I may even make a return, to the CCC, with this car. I can crash, or drive around at the back, with anything. Besides, this looks, n sounds, too pretty to leave it alone for any length of time.
You know, I can't even remember how many races I did in season one. Was that even in RD?, or was it RSC?.. I could say, "my mind ain't what it used to be". That'd be a rose tinted view of the past, though. My mind has never been that good... lol.

RDCCC S4 - Round 4 @ Detroit

Saturday April 2nd 2011

Track: Detroit 1988
Mod: True2Life Racing Camaro Cup 2010
Skinpack: RDCCC S4 skinpack
Weather: Changeable via forecast

Practice: a server will be set all day before the qualification
Qualification: 15 minutes Superpole ( 19:10 GMT )
Warm up: 10 minutes ( 19:25 GMT )
Race: 45 laps ( 19:35 GMT )

Weather forecast

Detroit forecast

Practice: In the first hour of practice you can expect mild rain and frontal showers and a good impression of todays weather.

Qualify: Forecasting light rain in the last two quarts with slowly deteriorating track conditions.
Green flag is your cue to start your laps. With a bit of luck you'll keep dry tyres during your hot-lap.

Race: Light rain and a heavy frontal shower in the first hour of the race. Track conditions up
to 80% wetness. In the second part of the race, track conditions will improve. No sign of rain till finish.

Starting procedure
please take note that all races this season will use a standing start instead of a manuel rolling start like it was announced in the Intro and Infos thread.

Cutting rules

2 wheels must remain between the 2 white lines at all time.

Pitting procedure

The pit entry and exit is tricky and there is no white lines at either place so to avoid any pitting incident use the quick chat button that was use at the test race saying " (your first name) Pitting in" and when exiting the pit you have to remain on the left side of the track until turn 1.

Disconnection procedure

it might occur that someone get disconnected from the server at some point so here's how its go. if you get disconnected from the server during qualification and you haven't went on track your allow to rejoin the qualification and to set a time. in the case that you have already set a time and get disconnected your not allow to set another time so it mean you'll be starting at the back of the field, if you break the rule there will be a penality. in the case someone get disconnected during the warm up the server will be put back in practice to allow the driver (s) to rejoin and those driver (s) will then start the race at the back of the field and we will then go back to the warm up and complete it and the race will now use a manual rolling start. we will do 2 formation laps, the first one will be for doing the grid in the right order in a safe way, once your in the right starting place keep the left side of the track so the driver(s) that need to get at the front of grid can safely pass on the right side of the track. the procedure will be given in chat by the race director (Yves Larose) so it is important that you follow them and remember your qualification place.
