Some drivers participated in S1,2 and 3 will receive an invitation to join the league, after the invitations are send and replied the entry list will be updated. Interested drivers, with a licensed membership and ranking status, can apply for the available places but we decide who will eventually drive based on a few criteria:

- driving standards
- commitment
- participation in previous RD leagues

This means that some people will be disappointed but that is unfortunately the downside of this system. We might open up a second server for a second group that will be the feeder series for the next seasons.

Sign-up agreement

Absense

This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are allowed to drive the in league we expect you to be present during all races of the season. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Incidents

It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by private message. It must always contain:

o Name of the league: RDCCC S4
o The name of the reported driver (the violator)
o A link to a youtube or vimeo movie that shows the incident in various angles
o A short description of the incident, without rant.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 48 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

General League Rules

All the general league rules are written down in a document for the 2010 league season. Click here to read it! Additionnal rules or rule specifications might be added in the rule thread so make sure you read them and understand them.

Real life weather is also changeable and unpredictable and i really liked it, it really forces you to have different strategies planed, and also be prepared to change them during the race if needed.

Anyway, fun racing all. There was some close battles as well as some small contact, but nice and fair al the way friends...... really enjoyable.

Qualified in a 4'th spot. Had a lousy start and lost 2-3 places into T1 but my car was good and i picked up one place after the other.
When diving for my first pit stop i had forgot to push the pit request button so the stop was terribly long.....

Race went on with some more nice fights and one more (faster) pit stop.

Ended the race in 4'th spot. (tuff luck that this was only a test race...)

Great racing all

Well, I had loads of fun guys. I crashed at turn 10 causing terminal damage.

Didn't expect to qualify behind Jesper in 8th place. :D

I learned a good amount of info for the season, and can't wait to get to Birubi SouthernCross.

The only thing I would change would be the fact that the weather system wasn't always clear. I wasn't able to tell how wet the track was and how hard it was raining while sitting in the pits. Put it this way, if it was only 30% or less rain and track conditions, I would've gone out on slicks. I put wets on for the race just to be safe, as someone said in chat that, the track was wet, and that it was raining. But it then changed to Drizzle, and alot of people had already joined the grid. The weather that it is during warm-up, shouldn't change when we go to the grid. it can change 10 mins after the start maybe, las I've seen that happen in motorsport. But at least in RL, the race engineers would be able to forsee that the rain would stop in ten mins. So if that did happen, I would've started on dry tyres.

But the racing was great, and I can't wait for more. Going to enjoy watching the broadcast. Hope my spins weren't caught on camera.

Qually: 1st (yeeeeaaaahhh,my first pole.)...bit lucky with the weather i guess but still.

Race: 3rd,

Had a good start but immidiatly got blue flags(???),so after the 3rd and final warning i had to let Greg pass.
Could overtake him the next lap and had a little gap after that. Then i came on to a backmarker,Chris Sykes, who couldnt decide wich way he would go,left or right,so he braked in the middle of the track,i choose left and so did he...(replay timestamp 762).
It costed me a lot of time and a few places since i also lost my concentration....
After a few laps(luckely my car wasnt that much damaged), i came back into my rythem and snatched some places back.
I was on a 2 stopper since i didnt had the confidance in my fuel saving ability's.
Respect for Greg that he pulled it of with only 1 stopper.
Overall great race.

Cheers and see you all next time when it really counts.

Qualify:
Started 11th which im happy about.

Race:
Started the race good and was looking to make an early pitstop.
Halfway the race me and my teammate wesley hit each other after a incident coming out of a corner for him.
Made 2 good pitstops an mannaged to finish in 12th place.

Yves thanks for this great show and Toby and Adam great commentating lads

i need to agree with some of you guys about the weather... and for sure in quali session.. if you dont have motecc you are not able to know the weather in advance... in game he say that it was wet and will raining and that was wrong :D it was damp and go dryer... :s
i take the wet tires but overheating it after the out lap... but P2 was very fine for me :)
before the race, checked again the weather in game and say the same as in Q session, i think i chnage three times tires before the start and finally decide to go with sliks. i think was the best choice...
at start, i saw Martijn go on the left side for T2 and pass him inside... sry for blue flag Martijn, is not my fault(i think and i hope :D), dont know what happend... :s
i planed to make only 1 pitstop and need to say that is not funny to drive like this but i was sure that it was possible and then looking only at my XD tool after each lap if i was ok with my consump...
i had some prob to restart the engine after refuel, i loose minimum 10sec there and exit pit in P5 with 15sec behind Jesper in 1st place.
i was sure that the guys in front need to pit again, then again i only looking at fuel and finish the race in P1 with 23s in front of Jesper.
my lower consump was 5.05L/lap, average was 5.10L/lap.
one or two laps more and 1stopper is impossible... i hope to see some change for the league ;)
want to watch broadcast now :D
wd all and thx to all for the work!

Q: I had to go AFK during my outlap, but forgot that if you go back to the pits the game won't allow you to get back to the track and set a time... so I ended up being stuck in the pits for the whole Q plus I had to start from the back of the field :frown:

R: Started on wet tyres, but they started overheating after about 10 laps... I thought that I would pit early and switch to slicks, but that didn't quite work out because during the pitstop, tyres didn't get changed and I had to come in again the next lap :frown: After that I tried to push the car as hard as I could, but it was only good enough for 9th place... definitely some lessons to be learned from this test race :)

Also it would be nice if the weather wouldn't change from warm up to race (and also during Q), so we have an idea what the race conditions will be like... today it was a total gamble (at least for me)...

well done Gregory, podium & all finishers :good: also thanks to Toby & Adam for great coverage :good:

Well today I tried to simulate typical warm front weather and tbh from what I have seen it was pretty accurate :) The weather is generated randomly. I did not manually change the outcome but I will next race to make the session transition smoother. The Forecast was based on the entire race session. 300 min practice 1, 60 min practise 2, 15 min quali etc. So the forcast I've posted on page one should have given you some idea about was what going to happen.
Next race I will try to make the weather more predictable :)

one or two laps more and 1stopper is impossible... i hope to see some change for the league ;)
want to watch broadcast now :D
I hope that too, maybe with a mandatory 2 stops cause the different 2 stops strategies made it quite more interesting. I already watched the livestream, so want to Thanks for this work. Nice to watch together with the commentary :good:.
Was maybe not good to understand  so my race again. Start was good, went on P4, the standing start gives for sure better possibilities to have position change and i think it went well for everybody apart from Chris who spun what was not to see why. Already first lap i went off track as i searched my brakepoint, unfortunatly i already passed them so down to P10. But nothing was loosed, i could come back at the group with Jesper (think he was on wet tyres) and Jan. Then pitted, came out in front of Jan and Jesper but with old tyres they pass my few laps later. Point was too keep me as close behind as possible but damn i spun and with this my chances broke. Second stop, new tyres - and finally now i came in a good rythm with times in 55 and 56 but the train was already gone, finished in P7 5 second behind Dariusz. I´m not much disappointed cause the speed was there, for first round i need a bit moore relaxed and constantly in timing - then i should win .
:thanks: everybody for racing, congrats Greg and podium, till Birubi Southerncross.

i need to agree with some of you guys about the weather... and for sure in quali session.. if you dont have motecc you are not able to know the weather in advance...

What motec add do you have? Mine doesn't tell me a thing without being out on track. If I'm sitting in the garage, watching people on Race Monitor, I don't get told how wet it is.

one or two laps more and 1stopper is impossible... i hope to see some change for the league ;)
want to watch broadcast now :D
wd all and thx to all for the work!

So maybe another 5laps added to every race might stop the one stop strategies from being viable for a race win. Everyone two stopping sound much better for people watching and for us racing.

thx for broadcast guys!!was fun to watch it, lot of beattle a bit everywhere...
PS: im never angry if im not first... ;)
Haha lies :) Vitus Club race in the WTM last year? :p
But yes good job Greg, we said that it's amazing that even with fuel saving you were still almost always the fastest out there so looks ominous for the league, but you had the big advantage of one stopping here so...

For the next race Yves, once you've watched the broadcast, I would like a PM with feedback on what we will do better.
Publicly, things that will be fixed:

- TV overlay
- Once you have had your interview post race, please leave TS, you can hear the rest on the broadcast stream :) We got a bit messy when Ethan was talking to me so we could tidy that up, but otherwise good job guys in the interviews, and that includes you Yves.
- We will be more prepared at the start, sorry guys about that!!!!
- Yves can we have more promotion? A couple of banners or images with hyperlinks attached that we could post around several forums might get a few more viewers in. :)

Cheers
Toby
