...I really struggled with the fast right hander when following another car as the Porsche seemed rapid on the entry phase but this resulted in me needing to lift a little mid corner a few times to stop me from tapping the car in front - lifting mid corner at that speed is a massive no no...

Going through the replay atm and seriously man, on lap 4, I have no idea how you managed that double save whilst in 6th gear in a Porsche(!) at Signes... awesome car control!

Before I forget, hugely impressed with turn 1 again on lap 1 guys. There were some 3 wide and we all still managed to get through and survive - top work!

Please remember to take a look at the replay and let me know any good overtakes you pull off (your number and what lap or time on the timeline will do) You can click the HUD button on the replay to click through and see names / numbers) Here is a link to the replay files if you haven't got any of them.

enjoyable race on a track ive never driven before, well at least not this lay out.
its actually a much better track than i thought and once i got the hang of the long sweeping corners with late apex's at the back end of the track i was finding decent lap times (for a slow guy)
well done to Oliver who after my pit stop was about 22s behind me, he was taking roughly 2s per lap most laps from me and managed to catch me on the final lap and over take on the straight to nick 10th

Yea, I must admit when I tried this track for the first time at the weekend I really didn't enjoy it.

The race last night changed my mind

I didn't account for the track temp plummeting soo much after the pitstop, I was under pressure from Beaz straight out the pits as well, doh! I did manage to hold it until the line though, just...

Nice clean racing from what I seen

catched while testing the first time at zandvoort

Zandvoort - Briefing

Nothing major to note for this one. 1x time multiplier so the track temp for the race should stay around 32/33c.

Zandvoort is a very technical track and makes following another car quite tricky. If you get time I'd highly recommend running a quick race with the AI to get used to following another car.

Thanks for the race guys, tough track on tyres and on concentration!

Congrats to Andre on the win, it was only a matter of time as the pace you had in the Audi was great and I was starting to struggle. Great to see Will joining the battle and had a good race with Patrick for the first stint too.

I won't be here next week and might not have time to make a video due to real world stuff, I'll be back for Spa

Thanks for hosting mate! Lots of fun, gonna have to check the replay for some small incidents :whistling:

Do you have the result json files by any chance? I'd like to have a look at simresults for some more data than sgp gives us.
My files weren't saved..
Or am I missing something by looking at Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Results?

I've never looked for results files to be honest, I'll see if I have anything in the location you mentioned.

Congrats to the winner and podium, that was a close, intense battle on the front.
Also thanks for organizing and hosting to Chris and racedepartment.

It was another race where i learned a lot but couldn't earn a better result.
The qualifying was not really good because in my best and last lap i made a small error in the 2nd last corner and couldn't break in the under the 1:37.
The start of the race than was also not really good, lost 2 places but got them back as there was trouble in front the next 2 laps.
The car felt very good after 2-3 laps and because i thought i was losing time following the cars in front i decided to make an early stop. I nailed the pit entry ok, but than i pressed, accidently, the pitlimiter twice and hey, you know what came now, again got a 30sec stop and go.:inlove::(

After taking the penalty i had a nice pace despite sitting in last place.
Always on the safe side i gained some time back to the cars in front until i was in the back of Klengel. We had a great fight to end, and yes, it is really difficult to pass in zandvoort without taking to much risks.
What wasn't nice and fair during our fight in the last laps was that Austin, despite being 1 lap down and not faster that Klengel, ignored the blue flags and so mixed up our fight and our pace.
Please, respect the blue flags, even more when a group of (faster) cars is behind and fighting for position!

All in all another mäh race and result for me, the car and i can do it better.
But despite that it was fun and nice to race again.

And now, for the next races, 100 times:
I have to do the pitstops right, with hitting the speedlimiter right and just once.
I have to do the pitstops right, with hitting the speedlimiter right and just once.
I have to do the pitstops right, with hitting the speedlimiter right and just once......
:thumbsdown::inlove:....;):D

OK... now I have cooled off from last night.

First of all, apologies to Simons, Bach and Klengel(sorry don't know your nicks/names here or on Discord). At the time I felt I could've been given a bit more room(on select occasions) but I can see that it is all my fault for the incidents.
And especially embarrassing was the one where I slid off on to the grass and had no control at all and collided with Bach...

It's a real shame as I had a really good car for the race but I messed it up big time for my self along with you guys, so massive apologies for that! :notworthy:

Happens to us all dude, and if it hasn't it will. Great to hear that you gave it some time and thought before posting - wish everyone did that :)

I had a read, there are no files generated for multiplayer.
However there'd the results companion for acc available here on RD which hooks into the broadcast and shared memory stuff and creates a database with everything one could imagine :)

Another thing:
Is there a way to find out the rd name of a driver?
I'd like to apologise to G. De carlo for out lap 2 contact in T1.
Although who's really at fault would probably need a discussion, I'd still like to drop him a pm since he came out worse than me.

And @Hazzatron19 sorry for hitting your rear end in the last lap. You were massively rubber banding out of a sudden while I was under braking, no chance to react :(
You car went from 140 to 90 within one metre on my screen.

I did let you through after giving it some thoughts down the straight, you took the gap meant for you and pushed me off at the exit to show your "appreciation" :D
Was fun battling you towards the end of the race!

No issues with me mate, I wasn't sure who did what when me made contact. I was so fixated on Chris and Pat in front of me I did think I may have squeezed you a bit not expecting you to be there but wasn't sure. I didn't watch the replay. Thank you for waiting anyways. My race was a series of self inflicted misfortune afterwards with a badly executed and poorly timed pitstop. This track is very hard to pass on, I mainly made spots back up through mistakes from others.
