Have fixed it now, thanks . Using the DTX5 option and setting the image transparency to 50 (on a 0-255 scale) seems to fix it

Where does one set the transparency to 50? The guy who is doing my paint can not find that setting and my skin is too shiny.

As the original car string is C6 (look in the Vehicles/NAGT/Carset-SWC-GT-folder), try C6_Marc_van_Niekerk.veh. If that still does not work, try RDGTC_Marc_van_Niekerk.veh . For some reason, this is the way the Mustang works, maybe the Corvette works the same way.

The transparency must be set in the psd file. The easiest way ist, to flatten all layers to one and then set the transparency of this layer to 50% before converting it to dds.

I got an issue with the window file as when I go to view it in game, it uses the original and not the one I made. Does anybody know how to fix this?

@Adam: That's normal with this mod, somehow. But it's only the banner on the front window which is fixed. If you want i.e. your name shown, just move it further down so it is seen under the banner. The banner itself cannot be changed.

I've been replacing the original skins at the moment for testing purposes. I tried putting my name on the side window but that failed to show. I will try putting it on the front windscreen later and see what happens. Thanks guys

Aaaaah! That explains, why Brians Mustang-veh with the original namesceme does not work: "Mustang_Brian_Clancy" has 20 characters...

...And my "Pontiac_Rhys_Gardiner" .veh file has 21 characters. :tongue: If our names are too long, do we have permission from the organisers to shorten the veh file names?
