why not make the start at the top of eau rouge instead the buttom of eau rouge ?

This would require to modify the whole track (starting grid positions)... The race is today, so basically, I think it's reasonable to say it is too late to make that kind of changes.

BTW, I don't think the Eau Rouge will cause so much problems in the start, it is not an overtaking place and we are doing single lane rolling start, therefore, I think everybody will be quite cautious, so IMHO, it will be okay. Actually I think we will have more troubles in Les Combes.
 
Trouble comes when people are over eager to try and win the race in T1 :) It's not the track or the weather's fault.

(now lets pray that i am not the one messing it up tonight after have said this :D)

agree with Jari, I am 100% sure that starting from 22nd or 23rd as is my habit I will have to dodge at least one spinning car at the exit of Eau Rouge, but hey, that's another position won :) In practice, messing up Eau Merde once again, I was reminded of Paul Simon's "Fifty Ways to ... Crash in Eau Rouge".

 
Well that lasted all of 1 minute. Damp track as posted but after people weaving and brake warming, why!, going throught Eau Rouge and taking it a bit carefully due to being damp, got hit by the guy behind and straight into the barrier at the top, engine car put. Will people ever learn that the race is not won in the first turn or corner?
 
I have really bad headache but I decided to go... well, formation lap, the worst ever - some guys got out of the track and some stopped on the track.. I passed them and they got behind me, but I was confused and dont know If I had to let them pass as they didnt got out of the track they have just stopped.. well, in one turn I try to let them pass me but they didnt want, ok - another incident was that some car before the car wich was before me braked so hard and I crashed into his back and the guy behind me into mine... eh... but it was really bad lap, it wasnt 100km/h, it was 50, 140...
Race: as I said I have bad headache, and I did everything to concentrate... 23 minutes before the end I lost concentration and in turn 1 I did unbelieveable mistake which destroyed me... sorry
 
Qualify: 16th on the grid.
The race started pretty good. 15th out of the pit and 13th after my pitlap.
And then I realized I calculated my fuel wrong :( So I had to make a second pit :0 for fuel....
In on of the last round I spinned and lost my splitter. Had to finish on a wing and a prayer :)

Well a so much better race then last week for me loved every second and came out with a 6th place.
But I think poeple in the C5R championship need to cooool down in the formation lap yet again there were people spinning and carshing at the back of the pack its so hard to stay with the pack but at the same time stay in the correct position.

Well done to all the completed the race.
 
Qualid 18th which was a suprise to be honest,

race managed to work my way up to 16ths on the start but then started to slip back after a few laps back to 18th were I started pitted lap 11 which was to early given how bad my fronts were at the end of the race, finished 16th or 17th due to some not finishing the race, can't complain had some good battles. till next weekend :woot:
 
Strange ending from my race. Just in the last seconds engine went down.


Qualifiyng on default setup, because i wasnt sure about my home made setup. According motec it should be ok, but it seems that i was quicker on the default.

Decided to go with my home made setup and indeed it was slower then default. It was stable enough in driving behaviour but somehow i couldnt follow today. (last race on Spa i was quicker, with another setup)


Took my pitstop as late as possible to avoid lot of you faster guys, and it worked out well not to interfear with the race.

Then later on in the race only one mistake when Hugo was entering fast, i made a 360 degrees turn. so easy, it seems like i do that every day.

I woud like to appologies to Fabio Fernandes running his race. I try to pass Fabio but then I could not turn the car more and my car hits Fabio with an incredible speed wich makes him fly of the track and hit the wall. I did not mean something like that to happen, I thought I could pull it off but I could not...

There was a car that was going to lap me on the last corner and I try to move away but the problem was I could not understand where he wanted me to be as we was changing lines as well and he ended up spining and crashing. Again I AM VERY SORRY :( .

I dont realy know whats wrong with me, first Fabio then the car that was about to lap me, I know I will get penalty so the stuwards should cut off the points that I got from this race and I cant attemd to the upcomming race.
