Great combo, the car was just so much fun to drive around here. Enjoyed every lap & I'm very happy with my performance, looking forward to the next round

Well done mate. Too good for everyone at this stage. I'm sure we will all keep plugging away.
Decent race for myself. Nothing spectacular from me. Pace wasn't great but I was pretty consistent.
Nice safe start, had a close battle with @Jimlaad43 for a couple of laps then snuck by on lap 3 when he had a slight moment. Then had a very intense duel with @Matheus Machado until lap 18. I only saw a gap of 1.0 seconds once, for a very brief moment, otherwise it was around the 0.5 for all of those laps. Eventually the pressure told and he got me on lap 18. I think the two fast guys @Chris Stacey and @kedy89 bearing down on me forced a loss of concentration and I was easy meat for them. Lost positions to both of them in a whimper on lap 19.
Brought home some OK points for Team Apia. On that note, sterling drive from Captain @Sniper Awesome mate. 4th in this field is a great effort.
Thanks to you and Chris for a great event.

last year was pure last ., lapped maybe 2-3 times, carried on though and slowly realised theres much more to this, your brain actually has to get into the zone of racing just like real thing.which ,like a few here have actually done, its very exciting,

a full year on, ups and downs, but slowly getting the apex , the line, comes the speed, just look at @Casper. fisrt race of this season was to stay clean, and finish, my target was not be lapped, ticked that box, and a fantastic battle with @Matt Bailey, and @Alex Townsend , who made a few overdrive mistakes lucky for me, he was quicker,

i thought 14th was on cards for last 10 laps, but everytime i hooked on to matt car, he just stayed there, couldnt get by, well done matt, 15th , pre stewards of course, gets me a point :),
now i gotta wait for round three, im threatening the world record for olympic mens downhill at whistler next two weeks, they do 1:52. hit 140kph.

im planning to hit 14kph and do it in ......... an hour :)

oh and @Sun Levi, just jawdropping how you do those times. great win again mr schumaker-levi

have fun at zandvort. Thanks all for a great fun and entertaining evening's racing.

This race once again proved that @Jeremy Talbot and I are the same speed. We spent about a week on the Practice server with our best times as 1:58.681. In last weeks Club Race, our fastest laps in Race 1 were the exact same time to the thousandth. And this week, after around 12 laps, we were occupying the same piece of track, staying within a second of each other for the rest of the race. Crazy Crazy :roflmao:

What a great start to the season for me, I had a good quali session and just pipped out @Chris Stacey for 5th position.
The start of the race was good although Chris with his low wings was too fast down the straight and overtook me until Maggots and Beckets where with some divine intervention and the banana peel I planted earlier in the day both Chris and @kedy89 spun out and I moved into fourth.
Thanks to some steady racing by APIA old Scholars @Casper and @Ashley Cowan who held up some of the fast paced guys to allow me to build a gap that cemented fourth spot in the race for me.
At one stage Ashley did say he would let Chris Stacey through as he was much faster to which I politely responded " Don't you Fu&%ing dare!!!"
Ash also moved from 18th and finished 9th, great work.

Back luck to my other teammates through no fault of their own had some incidents which marred their race especially @Jack who got no start light which caused the accidents at the start.

Congrats to @Sun Levi and to @Tobias Röhner and @IRobot who were in a league of their own.
Great organising @Chris Stacey ,a lot of hard work has been done in the background.
CYA next race!

Not totally displeased considering I was facing backwards on lap one. My race pace gives me a lot of confidence going into the next round knowing that I have the pace to be on the podium.

Qualifying was a disaster from the very beginning. Couldn't get the tyres to work. I suspect my setup was a little too conservative on the tyres as I was anticipating the front left overheating. But with temperatures of 5C, that was really not an issue. The other three tyres were the issue!

Race was also a disaster after losing it at Maggotts on lap 1. Thankfully I was running a relatively low rear wing which helped massively when trying to recover. Had some awesome battles with @Ashley Cowan and @kedy89 great driving lads, super clean and super intense :)

Could've been worse.
See you in Holland.

Disappointing from start to finish really. Just couldn't manage to get a good lap in for quali, really felt I should have been at least 8th or higher. Only managed to get the lap I did get on my very last go.

Then the race couldn't have started any worse. Got clipped from behind at turn 4 on the first lap which spun me around and had a big pile up. With some decent damage I set back off in 19th knowing that points were up for grabs down to 15th. Fortunately for me a few people fell by the wayside and I managed to get by Charles relatively quickly but once I caught up to @Jimlaad43 there was no chance. My damaged wings couldn't hold a tow from the draft and the dirty air once I did get close enough threw me off anywhere near a corner. Was a lot of fun racing with Edward though, definitely an x files situation between us with our times!

Reasonably happy with 12th after it all unfolded but I really felt a top 10 finish would have been mine without all the first lap shennanigans.

Congrats to @Sun Levi for the win and to @IRobot and @Tobias Röhner for the podium

Thanks guys :inlove: Bad luck for the guys involved in incidents, I know it's unpredictable at times especially with a large grid & high pings but please just be careful, be aware of your surroundings. Obviously no one hits people on purpose but you have to be careful with your judgement, I know it's easier said than done but hopefully we can all learn together, make the best out of it guys :)

wondered what happened to jack, he stayed dead still on grid, think he got hit, thought that was strange.

no pics sun?

You can't see the pictures? Because I can, I've had this issue before though where I'm the only one who can see it, might have something to do with the image being so large.

Well I was sitting there waiting for the lights to come up, so I had a quick slurp of my cuppa
and low and behold everybody took off, (nearly spat it all over the screen:roflmao:) Thought to myself WTF and then got drilled in the rear,
I feel sorry for @petsku67 as he hit me real hard, had lots of damage had to pit for repairs,
but instead of Quitting put my head down and tried to put in some good laps, You never
know what might happen up the track, might get a point you never know unless you give it ago
so I did but OH well it didn't work out but at least I gave it a crack.

So I'm sorry to those that got mixed up in the start line Farck up, my apologies to you all.
Congrats to the front runners well done.
So it's onto the next one.
