4 retirements in one lap!

Lap 1
Both drivers safe low
Felipe pit and repair car damage

Lap 2
both safe low
Kamui pit and repair car damage

"The chassis is really tired." - Magnussen's team radio.
"Copy. Retire the car." - MAG's engineer

Can you explain the SC rules a bit more. If Michele for example was to pit now, would she be able to return ahead of Rossi or would he gaps be reset before she gets to the pits, dropping her even further?

The next two laps will be under yellows. In the first lap, the convoy will not be formed before the pitstops, and stops takes less time as the cars go slower. At the end of the first lap, there will be a convoy formed. So if someone pits in the 2nd lap of SC, they are guaranteed to drop back.

Cars with high wear can pit both laps to repair their car significantly. They will still be in the convoy before the green flag is waved.

First post says everyone switches to safe low unless told other. Does that mean I can tell my driver to go faster in lap 1 to build a gap before pitting?

So to make it absolutely clear... Both laps of next update will be behind SC and even if a driver was to pit on both laps, he would not be left behind the pack?

1st lap
PET safe low (SC default if I understood that correctly?)
BEL easy low to the pits, softs, 62l

ALO push low to the pits, mediums, 54l
CLA safe low

2nd lap
PET safe low
BEL safe low

ALO safe low
CLA safe low

Ok, definitely no more commands in the morning (first saw 18 chassis for Vettel now saw 13 fuel for Rai):devilish:

Lap 1:
Ricciardo: aggressive, low revs and pit in. Soft tyres and 58lit fuel.
Kubica: steady, low revs and pit in. Soft tyres and 52lit fuel.

Lap 2:
Ricciardo: safe and low revs.
Kubica: safe and low revs. Pit again, new soft tyres and no refuel.

1) about fuel calculation. I guess it is calculated in liters. So I just wonder is it rounded down if you are under 0.5% (for Riffera that would be 0.7lit)? In this case we must be sure to have at least 1% left (1.4 liters)...
Or we are safe if we get with 0.1lit to the pit?
2) Also, what happened with pre-season test for this and last season? (I might have forgot about some deal on this)

Sorry for answering these question so late, but i was not available whole day.

Yes, exactly.

Yes, you can use other paces if you like.

1) Fuel amount is always in integers (1, 34, 62, not 1,2, 69,2 etc) There are never 1.4 or 0.7 liters.
2) The pre-season tests in the previous seasons were conducted for the game system was completely changed. No major changes did not require any pre-season testings.

Thanks a lot for this answer Omer, it really opened my eyes. Can't believe I missed it.:)

Now for "Intimidate" does that affect all drivers which are 0.25 in front of your driver or only closest driver ahead?

Both laps: safe low for both.
"Watch the fuel, watch the damage."

You are most welcome!

Only the driver ahead.
I forgot one thing on previous update, Ricciardo's tyre wear on laps 11-12 was 0 on easy. Same for Peterson on lap 11 and Bellof on lap 12. All on very low fuel. Is that ok?
Also, hint for Bridgestone tyres would be better "they are slowest" instead of "they are durable".:roflmao: I believe that GMedium are couple of tenths faster than BSoft. :(

Lap 1:
Ricciardo: aggressive, low revs, use ERS and hunt them.
Kubica: steady, low revs and use ERS.

Lap 2:
Ricciardo: aggressive and low revs.
Kubica: steady and low revs.

1st lap
PET push low + ERS
BEL push low + ERS

ALO push low + ERS
CLA easy low + ERS

2nd lap
PET steady low
BEL push low

ALO easy low
CLA easy low

Both laps: don't fight each other on track, if one's faster than the other let him past.

It is not a bug, but it is related to tyre warmth. Warmer tyres wear less. As those drivers had maximum tyre skills, they stopped wearing tyres it seems. But it should never make it so that there is "0" tyre wear, and this problem should be fixed after this race, hopefully.
