PRE-SEASON TESTING RESULTS

Mercedes Engine
Five teams participated in the research/development testings for the Mercedes Engines. According to the official statement by the company reveals that the team got 1 fuel tank, 4 durability (2 comes from Max Speed's risky tests) and 2 speed upgrades.

Ferrari Engine
While Ferrari did not enjoy as big collaborative effort as Mercedes by the teams, BRT's risky testing gave the team a much needed 2 levels of speed upgrade. While the ordinary tests granted +1 reliability and 1 fuel tank upgrades.

Renault Engine
As the flash engine supplier of the last season, everybody expected more customers for Renault. But the team failed to sign many contracts. Only one team testing for them granted a fuel tank upgrade.

BMW Engine
The new supplier already deployed a strong engine with it's base package. They also got +1 level of speed upgrade with the efforts of their sole-customer, South Coast Racing.

Pirelli Tyres
Two regular testing efforts granted them +1 speed, and +1 wet speed upgrade. Their lacking durability got no improvements and that caused some worries with the customer teams.

Michelin Tyres
Grip Racing's risky research provided them with 2 levels of Wet Speed upgrade. Michelin already announced that their tyres are the best in wet conditions, and this upgrade made them even stronger now.

Bridgestone Tyres
Red Night's risky research provided them with 2 levels of Speed upgrade. The Japanese brand seemed really happy with the results as Pirelli's superior speed is their target to catch up with.

Apex Racing Team
Only team to get a self-upgrade upon risky testings, ART managed to get a qualifying upgrade out of their risky research.
