The season really hotted up in Argentina, and it wasn't the weather. Florin Diaconescu drove a sublime lights to flag victory, setting up a series of events that played beautifully into the hands of McLaren. Diaconescu drove away from the rejuvenated Ben Utzer and teammate Sig Man in the final dozen laps to take the full 28 points. Utzer and Sig duelled it out, 3 corners from the line Utzer was able to secure the place, denying McLaren a full 48 point haul. Sasha Jednak drove well in the Ferrari, the confidence brought by the rookie showing as the team took a handy 12 points. Old Wolf and Rami Saidy followed each other, the first time a Jordan hasn't been seen on the podium this season, but weirdly enough for the team to jump the Heineken squad. They were followed by Alexander Macdonald, Ben Herbert, a struggling Omer Said and a deflated Thomas Hackel.
But the day belonged to McLaren, not seen in Forum Racing for 3 seasons, and not achieving a win since that same season, Chris Jenkins in a memorable home win at Brands Hatch. But this race also shook up the standings. Diaconescu stole the lead under both Macdonald's and Sig's noses by a single point, while McLaren and Jordan both overtook Honda in the constructors. Online Racing finally regained some form, which will allow for an interesting race when we return in China.

RDFIA OFFICIAL PRESS CONFERENCE
@Florin Diaconescu A strong victory, and the first time you have the privilege of leading the championship. Is this your turning point?
@Benutzername Finally some speed shown in the new car, yet Said was still further back, is this true car speed or simply a car-track relationship that worked?
@the_sigman With your podium, you moved to 1 point from the lead, and McLaren to the front. How long until you can get the top step again?
@Fred Owen What happened??

Thank you drivers

I cant really tell. Sometimes the car is strong, sometimes weak, soem times just fitting for me,... We cant really understand it. We just know that if we get all things together we are able to win races.
Both championships are far away. We are too inconsistent.
The big teams are McLaren, Jordan and Honda. All drivers are good this season, too.

We will think from race to race and are happy with every good result. This was one. Sadly just for me, but its start.

It is great seeing McLaren back to top. Florin drove a great race, and he deserves a lot of credit for that. Ben Utzer was designing the car but he rejoined OR before he finished and me and Florin took the decision to finish the nose, and the wings. We both made a very good job and the results show it.

@Aidan Keranen In the standings you write: Pole 25(Bold), is that right?
