Bradley Vanian, RaceDepartment Forum Racing Season 16 CHAMPION!

Race19-3.jpg

Hiroshi Awazu won the United States Grand Prix in great style, but it wasn't enough as Bradley Vanian finished 8th and there by secured the championship by 2 points. This makes the english rookie the second rookie in 4 seasons to win his first Forum Racing season. Last time it happend it was Linus Broström who won with 1 race to go.

2nd place in the race was taken by James Chant who is 51 points behind Awazu in the standings. With 52 points to be won in the last 2 races i guess we can say that Awazu has secured the runner up position making the top 2 of the standings being taken by rookies.

The third rookie is Aidan Keranen in 7th, who finished 3rd in the race, getting his fifth podium of the season. Alexander MacDonald finished 4th and Jean-Francois Godin finished 5th. Godin's Ferrari teammate Peter Duivelaar finished 6th making this Ferrari's best race of the season, just like the last one.

Honk Caterham teammates Thomas Hackel and Sebastien Levret finished 7th and 9th, Omer Said finished 10th and the last position was taken by Chris Jenkins.

Lotus have also won the constructors championship, and Red Bull Racing have taken 2nd while the battle for 3rd is still wide open between Williams, Honk and Mercedes. HRT has a chance but it is very small.

What's HOT!
Hiroshi Awazu - Secured 2nd place by taking his 3rd win in the last 5 races.

What's NOT!
Mercedes - Scored 0 points.

The second to last race of the season is at Silverstone Circuit in England, home of Bradley Vanian, James Chant, Chris Jenkins and David Carter.
