Aidan Keranen in the Lotus and Sebastien Levret in the Honk Caterham both scored season high's by finishing 2nd and 3rd

It was probably the most boring race of the season, everyone spread out and no driver was on the same strategy as anyone else. From the start of the race Hiroshi Awazu held the lead and eventually got the win scoring a maximum of 28 points. It's his 5th win and 7th podium of his first season. The rookie winning streak is extended to 13 races now.

Aidan Keranen got his third 2nd place finish of the season, sending him from 10th up to 8th in the championship. The Lotus driver is jet to do what his rookie teammate has done so many times this season, which is win. It's acctually just the fourth time he beats Bradley Vanian who finished 5th, missing the podium for the first time in 8 races.

Sebastien Levret finished 3rd which is a season high for him, and James Chant finished 3rd in the Red Bull car, showing he is back on form after 3 realy poor races. His teammate Erik Tveit however, didn't even manage to start the race as he blew his engine on the warm-up lap.

Chris Jenkins ended his top 5 streak by finishing 6th with Thomas Hackel close behind in 7th, which is his worst top 10 finish this season. Peter Duivelaar finished 8th in a Ferrari for the second straigh race, Alexander MacDonald finished 9th and David Carter brought his Mercedes home in 10th.

11th and 12th was taken by Omer Said and Jean-Francois Godin. Said lost some important points in the top battle but he still has a good chance to get 3rd in the championship at the end of the season.

There is still 103 points to race for, and Vanian's lead to Awazu is "only" 73 points. Jenkins in 9th technically has a chance to get 2nd while Duivelaar in 13th could still get 3rd. For the last two to happen though we would need some realy unusual results.

What's HOT!
Canada - Is in some kind of F1-fever now when Hiroshi Awazu have two wins and a 2nd place in the last 3 races.

What's NOT!
HRT - Scored only 8 points in the last 3 races, which is worse then any other team. They are currently in 8th in the constructors championship.

The 18th race of the season is in Korea at the Korean International Circuit.

Just noticed, Red Bull need to get at least 3 more points in the next round than Lotus or else Lotus win the constructors championship I believe.
Red Bull Racing have to gain 32-33 points on Lotus per race to win the constructors championship

And if Vanian wins in Korea, Awazu will have to be 2nd in that race then win the last 3 plus get the last pole, without Vanian scoring any more points, and they will tie for the championship :roflmao:
