Bradley Vanian wins in Turkey

Race7-3.jpg

What we enjoyed at Istanbul Park was probably the best battle of the season. Several drivers were in the lead during the race but in the end it was Lotus rookie Bradley Vanian who won the race. He is the 3rd rookie to win in the last 3 races, and the 6th winner on the 7 races we've copmleted so far this season.
-Lotus finally gets its first win. We've done what we realy should'nt have been able to have done yet.

The other rookie Chris Jenkins poped up late in the race and finished 2nd, and Alexander MacDonald finished 3rd. MacDonald had the lead 4 times during the race but a small misstake put the HRT driver 3rd.

Danny Asbury had another good race and finished 4th, Sebastien Levret and David Carter finished 5th and 6th while home GP driver Omer Said finished 7th, though he had the lead at one point of the race.
Asbury: -4th... I can't be mad about that result, considering how some of my pit-wall monkeys were perched the radio lighting up my alert-lights in the car!
Carter: -Unfortunatly I'm a slow monkey picking it's nose. Anyway great performance again by Danny, I will use my KERS to try to keep up.

Former championship leader James Chant finished 8th, and the two Ferrari's of Peter Duivelaar and Jean-Francois Godin rounded of the top 10 finishing 9th and 10th.

With his first ever win Bradley Vanian moved both himself and Lotus to the top of the standings, Said goes to 3rd and Asbury and MacDonald jump to 4th and 5th. Currently there are 3 drivers tied for 5th at 57 points, and 2 teams tied for 8th at 57 points. Those are Alexander MacDonald, Hiroshi Awazu and David Carter, plus HRT and Williams.

What's HOT!
Bradley Vanian - The rookies worst finish is 8th, and now he finaly got his first win.

What's NOT!
Race officialls - Seems to be asleep and misses alot of the rough stuff going on out on the track.

Next in the 2nd Feature Race of the season at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Canada.
