Round 2 - Brazilian Grand Prix
Sprint Race

The track between the lakes, Interlagos, as it once was called. Now named after former Brazilian driver Carlos Pace, who took his only win here in 1975. Noone on the grid today to take a home win, but by no means there's noone who doesn't want to win today.
The Brazilian Grand Prix is GOGOGO!!!

Said triumphs in Brazil
A hard fought victory for Sauber driver Omer Said at Interlagos, holding back Tim Engberink in the Williams. Their teammates Lutz and Laskey, as well as Laad in the Jordan, were fighting for the final podium spot, finishing in just that order, separated by seconds only. Rinneaho took 6th in what was a rather quiet race for him. The Arrows followed in 7th and 8th, Rossello again beating Ancevski. Round 1 winner Utzer finished 9th, which was enough to maintain the championship lead. Poirier once again rounded off the top 10.
Keranen beat fellow countryman Rosella for 11th. Behind them Wolf and Dovizioso, who had fallen back early on after a collision, which took out Sigoulakis. Mishra finished 15th with quite a gap, his gamble on wet tyres didn't pay off, which was to be expected with not a single cloud on the sky.
