running STCC would count out all the people that don't have STCC, and a few of those cars are the same anyway..

will probably give it a go in the vertigo in a bit

fun fun... a nowhere performance... but did include one of my favourite overtakes evah in lap 7... ho ho... otherwise, some nice fights on and off throughout... finally binned it a few mins afore the end, losing concentration while being lapped....

edit: i noticed quite a bit of micro-lag last night too

Was that the move in turn one when Lee made a mistake and I had to avoid him and you cut between us both? I thought that was a nice move.

Qualifying: Set a 1.30.3 and went out for one final attempt with 3 minutes to go and managed a 1.29.950 which was enough for 2nd :D

Race: Starting 2nd got a good start and lead out of turn 1, but cold tyres meant I drifted just slightly too wide and a small trip in the gravel dropped me to 5th :(
Setting to work passing Richard, after going side-by-side for most of sectors 2 & 3 I got the position coming out of the last turn. Once I caught Marty I stuck close, unfortunately Marty braked a little earlier than I expected and gave a small tap which was exacerbated by the higher ping, allowed Marty to regain the position so I could try again and soon was past and now had a 7 second gap to the battling Ben & Andreas. By the pit stop I was just under 3 seconds behind but we were all coming into traffic so I pitted lap earlier than planned, a lap later than Andreas and a lap before Ben.
Andreas' messed up pit stop gave Ben space so after the pits I was 4 seconds behind Ben and 6 ahead of Andreas. And so followed 40 minutes of the fastest I could possibly drive only to lose another 3 seconds to Ben by the end. Finishing 2nd. Grats Ben, unlucky for Andreas.

Well done to all the backmarkers, no one just slammed the brakes on to let me past, instead went off line and back off slightly to let me past. Perfect :D
