@Andrew James, [and everyone] There are several ways to get caught up by another driver in this event. The firstly, the proper thing to do is to hold your line and the faster driver will find an opportunity to get by you. I do suggest that if a driver, of either class, comes up behind you in quali let him by. This can be done with little delay in your lap time and after all, we all want to be friends when the day is done. I usually keep a big eye out the back of the car, it can be easy to pick out a rapidly approaching car and when someone comes up to me that I see there is no reason to fight for a place, I usually pull off the line ahead of time and give them plenty of room.

During the race, well it is a race but as Warren has pointed out and everyone shroud know there are places to pass here and places to NOT pass. Think ahead and ask yourself if you want to finish the race and if the other driver has a chance of too before making a move as it's a lot easier than saying, "I'm sorry" after the race.

Once we're a minute and a half into the race it's nature will change big time. Have patience, use common sense and let's have everyone finish or not finish by their own doing.

Please sign me out.

I'm pretty annoyed about this... the in-laws find another way to get on my nerves. They need picking up from the airport during race time. My wife will go, but that means I'll have the full attention of my two toddlers at home - racing and children don't mix!! I hope there's another Radical race soon.
