Sorry guys but i won't be able to race. I have a few friends coming over but i hope that this track gets used again for another race perhaps with GT cars because i totally suck with the Minis

The more and more I drive round this track, the more I like it. Unlike previous races, I've also paid more attention to trying to get the set-up right and learning what settings affect what on track. I've still got some way to go, but just fiddling around and testing I improved my lap time by 4 seconds. (It's still not record breaking, don't let that put anyone off - I fully expect to finish at or near the back.)

Not supposed to say lap times, but track wise it's fast rather than twisty, there's little grip, and get's narrow at places. It's good fun, though.

Andrew, I'd bet you're having trouble at the end of the valley of lefts? That's the toughest spot in the sim track though IRL holding it wide open thru T1, T2 is what took b*lls. We would be in the pit, listening as riders going down the straight approached and listened to hear if they rolled off the throttle

I find the 3rd corner the toughest, im forever outbraking and running into the dirt.

That is a tough spot, but I'm happy with how I am taking it, so long as I straighten the car out quick enough. There's a little bump on the top of the slope which if you aren't careful will spin you off at high speed - I imagine if there are some cars side by side at this point in the race there could be some sad drivers. And the slightest tap may send some cars right around.

I haven't had as much time on track as I'd have liked, but enough to be able to get into a flow.

Yeah, I agree with you - I brought my braking point back to before the rubber marks in order to make the apex.

I've launched the mini in the air, rolled the car a number of times, (purposefully and for laughs, I hasten to add) smashed over bumps along the sides of the track, and carried on driving. But hit those wire fences, and you're toast!

Im finding i get agonizingly close to making the turn but end up in the big white barrier.

As usual, I'm more than a second off my pace and it was originally off of everyone else's pace so once again, looks like I'll have a backseat until I end up in the bleachers
