@Jimi Hughes Do you use your own setup for FFord? I just set gears, increase rpm, steering lock and fuel and that's it. I can't find any magical setup, it's just waste of time for me with this car.

From my experience, it hardly matters (besides the obvious final gear). In Magny I was using your quasi-default setup, then somebody posted one in the chat and I gave it a try (much stiffer springs, much longer 1st), and I could do the same times, just I felt more or less nervous depending on the turn. Toe in-out, caster.... feel completely useless.

The ultimate speed I think can be found with short gearing to induce oversteer and slide a bit on the turns (you do that). However, if you are not 100% in control you end up losing time (or worse, spinning).

I use more or less default and rarely change it between circuits as I dont really have enough time atm to test. I only adjust gears, drop tyre pressures, fuel and off the top of my head (im away from my PC) i think I run 8 front and rear for anti-roll bars. I think that is all I have adjusted apart from minor shifts in brake bias. Its all just momentum based driving in these, just trying to get the things pointed the right way exiting a corner and maximise speed on the exit. "Slow in, fast out" to use the old cliche!

I always use lower tyre pressures, i prefer the feel of the car with them slightly lower but its marginal. I think as long as the gearing is ok for these cars there is alot more time in learning the car than there is with setup.

With the minis I always drop the fronts and raise the rears due to loosen up the rear abit, and to help the tires life over the longer races

Don't know what the hell was going on tonight...a few new faces and some dreadful, dreadful driving.

I managed to avoid most of it for the first lap and a half, but all around me there were cars bashing into each other and Joakim Paolin (?) who's name I don't see on the list was just ramming into everyone.

In the end I got flipped upside down after someone steamed down the inside of me and hit Ivan (I think) and I got caught up in it.

Mods need to be swinging the banhammer. I know it's up to us to report, but there was that much going on on the first couple of laps I think it's worth checking out...
