I was very happy with the car I posted. The only thing I changed before the race was brake pressure and maybe bias a little, if I remember right and that got me more than a second faster. For a "beastie" it was a jolly good car!

R1: I was expecting a race with Marcelo as our times were about the same. I was hoping to have a race without any barrier contact but that changed in the tight left when, I missed my brake point, locked the braked, missed the line and spun around inflicting suspension and aero damage. In the replay I can see Tylers car actually going thru my car as his LF passed my LR!!! Well I got that out of the way but I was only able to enjoy a drive around the track.

R2: The "beasties" show their power over drivers at the start and I'm sandwiched between several. No problem, it's good to get the bad stuff over with at the start! No more Armco I say as enter the back straight, drifting out too far right into the concrete wall! Dummy! Amazingly not much damage so onward. Rhys has a mishap but gets right past me again, I'm down a bit on speed it seems. Eric has a mishap about mid race and shadows me for a long time before closing and making a pass just before the last lap. I think he would have caught me sooner but he lept playing ag with the armco, no doubt cussing out the car with each tap!

Both were good driving/racing sessions. Let's hope Marcelo gets another controller up or gets used to running the pit menu with the keyboard. Too bad you didn't make it back to the grid Phil.

In race 2, at first turn in second lap i think, i hit Frans, sorry for that hit Frans, again i was inside and saw that you are coming through inside.when i saw that i used my brakes, however i think you didnt relize that i was inside , after that i have waited for you but you left the game, apologies for that crush.

Here's some advice for the newcomers (and the old ones

). You will not win a race in the first lap(s). Make sure you'll settle down in the first view laps and feel comfortable in the race (loose the tension). After that you can start the overtaking 1 by 1. And if there is somebody behind you that seems to be faster, do not try to hold him down lap after lap. You better can use his slipstream to closing up the gab to the car in front of you

(sssssst, don't tell anybody)... If there are 2 cars battling for position in front of you, just hold your distance. In a battle there are always little mistakes, so the 'waiting' can be very rewarding. Make sure that you don't loose any paint of your beautiful car and finish the race without a scratch. If you can do that, then you are in my eyes the biggest winner of the race.
