Well that was fun!!!!!!!!! Ok the Z4 was not going to keep up with the VIPER here but it battles beautifully with the AM DBR and the VErtigo!

HAd some bad luck early starting slowly then managed to battle well with Dennis before finally getting through. Well done Dennis you drove it better than me as I bumped you mroe than once.

Then I got into a hot battle with Rhys to end the race just a bit behind.

R2 on pole and get a good start....but of course Dariusz launches like SATURN 5 and he is leading in no time flat...... I hol doff Yves just a bit and Keith gets me on the straight on lap 2. Then I am trying to hold it together but eventually make some small mistakes and fall back to 7th. ''then the battle with Tyler is on! 4 laps of pure excitement and intense battling and I manage to re-pass and hold TYLER of by about 1/2 a car length.

Too bad we don't have 'drop races' for GT - love the track, and actually could throw around the Viper fairly decently but.....

Same 2 mistakes both races:

Each race ran up behind someone going into turn 1 and had to turn into the wall/grass to avoid them. Running alone I did a fairly late brake, and then a late shift to 1st and kick the rear out - doesn't work so well when following close due to the relatively high speed right before turning in.... should have learned first race.... at least I did manage not to hit the guys in front of me (John Race 1 - I think, and Sam race 2)

speaking of which, also managed to loop it in the last tight right hander in each race. It's the one piece of curbing you can't catch without trouble, and I did it both races, ending up on an incline where you can't reenter the track due to having no traction.... the replay from race 1 is probably comical - I think it took me 30 seconds to get back on track.

Had a GREAT time guys! Nice clean race... you guys are fast,

Really happy with my results, as this was my first real race (just got this game and a wheel)... Didn't finish at last and most important, didn't cause any accident, lol.

And of course, that was the perfect track for my first race, I'm from Brazil... Interlagos rocks.

Nice knowing you all, seeya in the next events!

It was great to get back out on the track tonight!!! Had a lot of fun getting my feet wet. My main goal was to get up and running and make sure everything is working properly. I managed to stay on the track with no wipe outs for both races even though my times where in the toilet. I obviously need lots of practice but as long as I don't screw up the really fast guy's who have a shot at winning I'm happy and improvement on my part will come in due time.

Would have liked to catch up with Jarrod some but I had a house full of people who I was ignoring for the race. lol... Plus I skipped dinner.

Anyhow I'm looking forward to the next one and I'll be practicing! Thanks everyone!!!
