As a start lets kick some WTCC cars after the pause period.

Good racing overall, very spectacular ))
That was "nice", Jacob, on first lap..... not very accurate in that damn complicated corner and I had a hard crash

25 December Zandvoort Audi R8 Prod.

Q:
I was practising all day. i felt happy with my setup .
Thought i would have pole this time , but yet again Yves beat me with 2 tents.
But i was happy qualifing in 2nd position. Hoping in race pace i would be quicker.

Race 1 :

After a nice clean start , Yves pulled away , i managed to hold on to my second position as the first lap i was trying to get temparture in the tyres and not over do it.
Thing stayed relative the same the first race. Yves got a way to a gap of 4 sec. which he maintained for the rest of the race.
the guy behind me ,couldnt keep up with our pace , so i had a nice gap with him , growing every lap .
So after 12 Laps Yves won , and i came in second

Race 2 :

With the reversed grid things looked different now.

Yves had a better start so i had him on the inside going into TarzanBocht.
looking at his tail again , we managed to overtake the rest of the field.

Then after a couple off laps , Yves had a Brain fade , as he called it

I was Hhard on the brakes , trying to avoid him , but i didnt help , i hit him twice.
Then i saw in my rear view mirror , Carl coming on strong. i think they hit as well.
After that i was trying to get back on pace. but i seemed that i had some areo damage.
so had to be carefull braking, and handeling Schievlak and the Masters Corner.
Carl kept the gap at 2 secs. I could maintain that gap driving carefull.
But almost in the last lap , Carl must have had some trouble , cause the gap was in an instance 6 sec..
Cruising to the finish flag , all the Dutch Fans went wild, as a home driver took the win in the second race.

Love these Cars , i gives some good racing .
