hi. i tryed to join server but i got message 'booted as possible cheat'. Can you pls tell me why, I have no experience with RACE game online. I play RACE 07 through STEAM (dont have RACE ON addon)

In your GTR2\Userdata\PlayerName folder, open your Player_Name.PLR with notepad.

Scroll down to "MULTIPLAYER".

Near the bottom of that section look for this line:

Report Mismatches="2" // server to act on mismatches by: 0=No checking, 1=Warning messages, 2=Auto-Boot mismatches

Change the "2" to "0"

I've read that this will fix the problem.

the server's plr file should be set like this (i found this on no grip forum)

game reports this because of addon tracks.

Race Report
ATCC – Barber Motorsports. AL

Back to the US for a quick blast round the Skip Barber Motorsport Park. Bad weather in Europe had clearly reduced the number of teams that were willing to take the gamble on being able to return to Germany in time of the next round of the ATCC at the wonderful Nurburgring BP circuit in central Germany. With a few tweaks to the set-up of the tams cars used at Road America, just one week earlier a much shorter gearing was needed here to cope with the shorter straights and slower corners. After a few practice laps I was down in the low 31’s which I was comfortable with.

Qualifying

Last Turn – Fail. Ran wide onto the grass on the out lap and piles into the “death race” style tyre barrier on the outside of the last turn. Starting from the back, this was a smaller field so I was less concerned.

Race 1

Good start, now focus on not running into the sand at the outside of the first turn kink. Clean! There is an old adage that you can’t win on the first corner but you can easily lose, what it should say is that if you haven’t made up enough ground from the back to catch the leaders, you’re not in with a chance! Turn 5 out brake Ethan avoid the carnage and up to 8th. Rest of the race was pretty uneventful and I dropped a couple of places through lack of concentration (it is gone 3am) finish 10th not too bad a result from the back of the grid.

Race 2

Again a good start, avoided the t1 bumps and in a good position going through 3 and 4. Tried the old late brake against Mike Fast here, but had simply left it too late. Ran through the corner, miraculously avoiding everyone and sat waiting for the field to pass back out in 2nd last. Spent the rest of the race trying to catch Bill Kaiser, eating into the gap and got it under ½ second bit I made 1 final mistake that put me a long way behind. Just marked time behind Bill and ahead of Denis to finish last but one. All because of the mistake at t5 on the first lap.
Gratz to Yuri on his double, great racing all.

Still snuck into the mid 30's no too far behind the leaders. More concentration needed.

Hey Michael, is the WTCC Volvo C30 allowed this time? It's usually excluded I think (don't know why tho, I'm sure there's a good reason)

It's way quicker than other WTCC cars, so RD don't use it.
