Previous offline testing had put a car in the garage that would be driveable. Online turned out to be something else. Oh well, a bit of last minute pressure on the backmarker. It started to work out a nd just before the big disconnect I put in a 2:01.xxx, I have no idea how!

Front row starts for both races, whoopie.
R1: A great launch but I puicked a bad line into T1. This ended up being a good thing as most everyone got by before T3. The next 21 minutes were spent trying to stay on track.
R2: Another great launch but a much better line into T1. The first lap is a little more interesting! Changes made between races are helping a bit and my bast lap is a bit beter but so is Pedro's. He's behind me for this race as well but he's not dropping back[he even had a faster fast lap than I did.] and a pretty good match for me. Good thing he was a few seconds behind! If I had gone off track he would have gobbled me up!

Thanks to all that helped us get back online and racing!

R2 geta great start and barely miss Dariusz making a rather aggressive move on the deep inside right going into T1. He slides by like its a D1 GP event in japan and bangs into one car that keeps him inside the curb. Thankfully I am not contacted and move along in P3.

Hehe, I'm not sure but I think that was me, as I started 4th and passed 3 cars to start. Considering you lost a place and were still in P3, then I'm pretty sure I was the BMW driver in question. Point is, I didn't hit Rhys on turn 1, I barely got through, but it was clean. I wouldn't use another driver as a guard rail. lol

might have my races mixed up a bit....

Not worried about you BMW drivers just yet..............maybe after race #6 I'll see where we stand and sweat it out then. he he he

Yeah my moment with the safety car is another "eric Nelson Classic" for sure! based on my getting untangled youd think that happened before....pffffffft

Anyhow, thansk for the thoughts and see you on track soon!

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:DThese are INSAAAAAANE! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I love these cars. The sound these V8s make are what a V8 should sound like. Godly.

Now I may just end up being rubbish (I can see myself needing alot of setup work to tame these things) but on first runs, I am immediatly comfortable with these monsters. Even catching them after locking up going into the hairpin isn't impossible.

Oh if only some other RWD cars were as balanced as these. If they were, I may actually be persuaded to drive a BMW in touring events.

My only gripe at the moment (haven't driven the Audi too long) is that, untill you reah 6000rpm, the noise made, sounds like an electronic chainsaw, cutting away at a keyboard set to Techno. A small gripe, but one thats noticable.

Though my biggest gripe is, WHERES MY ALFA ROMERO!!! So want to see Alfa go back to DTM, save it from being just Germans manufactures. I know they are thinking about WTCC, so please think about DTM. Then I get to drive a lovely, giant V8 159.
