not a bad race, q'd 13th(i think)

wasn't expecting the auto rolling start for R1 but neverless made a few places on lap 1 but lost many after I tapped the back end of Erdogdu(apologise mate was expecting you to slow as much as you did) so now last place I had to push hard to make anything, pitted early and got back going, towards the end of the race was up in 8th last lap I got my fuel down to 1.60ltrs I had to let that place go and cruse home shortshifting so ended up 9th.

Race 2 went a lot better was pushing hard again for a better finish, had some great battles and finished 7th

Cheers RD

Thanks to RD for setting this race up, its one of my better tracks.

Qualified 4th which is alot better than my usual 10th.

Race One
Finished 5th which was good for me.

Race Two
Great start, take 1st from simon on lap 2 and hold the lead after pitting but being chased hard by Eric Nelson, then comes lap 14 and i try to pass Wayne and it looked to me like he made room on the inside so i go for it, wrong, he pushes me into the wall and onto my roof, i go from a 3 second lead to 8 seconds behind, yes i was quite upset. Still 2nd is still pretty good.

I wont make a complaint as i dont know how to put replays on YouTube files which you need, but i'd like to say thanks for takeing my 1st RD win from me.

Well done to Eric for win and keeping the pressure on, good race mate.

Race 1 : My first DNF at RD :( Teach me to race with a sickness bug thats on the rounds. Going down main straight I was adjusting my pit menu as I forgot to pre-race and I hit the 1st gear button, so it went from 6th to 1st and blew the engine.

Race 2 : I was determined not to mess it up again, sorted the pit menu before the start this time. Was really cautious through turns 1,2,3 and I think I did make contact with a couple of cars but nothing to effect the race. Made up some ground from my 16th grid spot and after a few offs from others I found myself in the top 10. Had some great fights, in front of me and behind me. Was finding it hard to overtake and defend at the same time. Chris S gave me a scare when he was sideways on round a corner and I was right behind, I only just managed to miss him :p . After all the pit stops I was in 3rd place and just made sure I didn't make a mistake and for a change my lap times were not far apart, usually after 5-6 laps I start going around 1-2 secs slower.

Race 2:
God, I just finished the race and then disconnected! lol the last finishers didn't touch the line before it happened.
It was a much nicer race, had some nice battles with Kenny and Chrys S., thank you guys it was fun!
And I'm sorry Wayne if I made your situation worse when you spun ahead me. From the replay I saw I hit you, I couldn't judge that in that moment! I braked as hard as I could to avoid you.

Yeah it was damn good fun, I think we had few scrapes in the process :)

We have a fresh, new way of reporting and punishing incidents in the Racing Club, using an infractions system. read more here

You are actively encouraged to use this system - we like to keep driving standards high - so if you feel you were wronged in any way during an event simply send the event organiser a private message detailing the incident including a You Tube video. Do not post reports/accusations in the thread itself - negativity and anger gets us nowhere.

Best continuous battles I've ever had. Great times Dennis. Good clean fun stuff (well, except for the couple of bump-drafts I gave you - sorry about that). You definitely took me to school tonight. Learned a lot, thanks.

Eric - if you make that highlight reel, don't forget us in the back.

I always enjoy this track, it seems to be one that I always learn something at. Funny, lap times never really seem to get better!
There were a few changes to be made during practice and the Q session. My top gear was a bit short and I would have liked it a bit longer but trying it lost me lap time. I raced with a setup that has been good to me here, it had the tiniest of tweaks from practice in it.

R1: A good start, lol all the practicing for a start that was done by people ended up all for naught at the drop of the flag! Eric and I instantly got into a fight and I had to work really hard to stay in front. I cut a few corners and felt bad about that. At times he would drop back but always arrive back on my rear bumper. He did get in front of me and then on L7 I think the "bump spring" or whatever it is got him. I never felt my front bumper hit him but a replay shows a touch and he was propelled straight off the track. I didn't stop but let him catch back up but he was out of sorts from it and went off coming out onto the first back straight. There was no one in front of me so I slowed to wait and have more fun. I guess I didn't let him get too close as I finished just ahead.

R2: A real start and a good one! I followed the pack around for the first lap but wasn't fast enough to stick with them. By L2 they were headed off into the curves without me. Eric was right behind and he hounded me through just about all of the race. Renan made it back thru us, that dropped Eric down a bit but he made it right back. On L5 I went wide at the left between straights and lost momentum. Eric took the line to the last turns but I stuck with it and rather than give it up I held the inside with the best braking I could do. I guess he noticied I wasn't in his mirrors, I apexed and got the place back, holding it onto the straight. Eric made a move on my inside in T1, we crushed some sheetmetal and I lost my left side mirror but held the line into T2. That all worked well until the last lap. I went wide again in the left hander and Eric pulled ahead, I tried to gain some ground at the other end of the straight but ran out of track. I can't figure what he might have learned from me. He had a better Q and race fast laps were faster than mine. I think I was just in the right place[a number of times] to hold him up!

Thanks to all for great racing!
