Great beautiful evening, I had just five laps this afternoon to see the track tonight then I have improved greatly as the usual fast riders (Hugo Andreas)
Then in race one went very well, when Hugo passed me I tried to follow his lines and at certain points I was faster than me but he was flying in fast. I finished second and are very happy, congratulations Hugo and the podium, great race.

In the second race I started well, some out front made me take the second position behind Andreas, but I was pushing hard behind Hugo, I got distracted and went off, I slammed on the sign .... engine destroyed and race over for me.

was nice though, really great track, fast and technical.

It was a fun track but never the less not my type of track.

Got a 11'th spot in the normal qualification, and then in the extra restart qual session I managed a 9'th spot.

Race 1
Had a good start and fought my way up the field driving quite steady and somewhere before half distance i was up in 4'th spot.
Slided a bit wide on the exit of the back straight chikane (or whatever we should call it) and got a right rear puncture....
Pitted for tyres
Finished race 1 in a 8'th spot.

Race 2
Started 1'st on the grid and got a good start.
Peter D passed me in sector 1 and i stayed on behind him.
But then on lap 2 i run a bit wide in turn 4 ? (left turn) and hit one of those d...m lamp post..... race over

Looking forward to next event

Thanks Hugo for organising a great event, and thanks to all the other drivers....though I had more fun watching than driving....lol

Gonna have to do some homework on how to go about setting up the car there is some real advantages if you know what your doing...

Its loading up for me in Single Player. But when i join a MP game it gives me incompatible version track doesnt exist on client side error. The Gold Coast tracks that is. Clios run fine.

You do make a wicked Mosler setup. I ran your (race winning! ) Mid Ohio setup again last night. Wasn't quite as fast as you or Keith, but it continues to prove itself competitive at a variety of tracks.

Hi, I would love to be there but cant seem to install the map needed.....I have downloaded and extracted the file but i cant seem to find the Gamedata or UIdata file within it. Sorry kinda new to all this modifying....I have LeMasDuClos_2006_V1.1_GTR_Evo file but it is an application do i just run this...dont want to do anything yet untill i know better.

You need to point the installation to

X:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\your steam username \race 07\Gamedata\Locations

X being whichever drive Steam is installed to.

Im seeing chatter on FVRfactor that the surfers paradise/gold coast are NOT working online. Can you verify eric? I have no joy when running a server in dedicated mode with this gold coast track pack.

Just tried upping an RD dedi server and nada - didn't work. Incompatible game versions.
