Some great raciung tonight despite the low numbers.

Got a decent start in race one, and took the lead from Keith early on. Keith went off later and I held a big lead, enjoying watching the bettles between everyone else on the track map! However, on the first lap I slid it gently up the inside of Bob and normally nothing would have come of it. But I got a little lag and he bounced off me, losing a couple of places. So I decided to let Bob through for the win at the end, felt guilty about the lag.

Race two I got a great start, from 5th to 3rd. I then made s small error and fell back behind Bob and Andrew. Andrew went wide and I followed Bob through. Keith led initially but then made a mistake letting Philip into the lead and rejoined between me and Bob! I couldn't quite get past, Bob passed Philip for the win and then a battle royale started between Keith, Philip and me, was great racing! Keith got past Philip and then I gave Philip a little shove at the xit of the final corner but waited for him to go back past. He then made a big mistake a few corners later and I came home third.

I believe there is a hardcoded lap-limit in RACE'07+Exp. - which is below 100laps... If not fixed, you will simply be kicked into garage at a certain point - not sure if it's only during qualify-session though.

this is a valid point and only something i've experienced recently....

when we ran the mini enduro at vayline... people discovered they could do no more than 10 laps in qually...

turns out it has this setting in the gdb file: QualifyLaps = 10

most tracks i've come across don't have it - i think it's something that comes across from rF - but it still is taken into consideration by evo...

on that note, paul ricard pr has this line in the gdb: RaceLaps = 97

my guess is, if you dropped that number to 5 and tested it... it would probably have the same effect... and if so, we're limited to 97 laps without an "unofficial patch" :D

RaceTime = 180

that might also cause an issue...

(my guess is if they are acted upon by the game engine, deleting the lines from the file should cure the problem)
