PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

Best i could have hoped for so happy with that, although a bit more time was there.

Race - p8
Lost a place to maks at the start, but he span a few laps in. Then ben got past me and sat behind him for a few laps before he pulled away.
The constant thorn in my side was paul. Always 2-4 seconds behind me, so kept me on my toes. Decided to pit earlier than most and tried to pull more of a gap to paul, but my crew only put 40litres of fuel in, so my race was effectively over as i had to come in again.
Was only going to pit for fuel this time round, but annoyingly got tyres too, which put me 4 seconds behind papano, a gap that i never really closed.

Overal a story of what should have been and a mass shooting of the pit crew. Oh well, now I look forward to next season, which is lining up to be very tight in the midfield. Just need to choose a car now.

Now let’s see what next season will bring. I’m pretty excited to get back behind the wheel. Hopefully, Seeks and I will find a car that suits us before the end of the weekend.

1. Why did you choose Watkins glen?
I choose Watkins Glen because it has a good mix of high speed corners and straights which usually makes for a great race

2. Which section is the best in your opinion?
I would say that the middle sector is one of the best parts of the track when u hook it up perfectly feels good

3. Is your car suited to the track?
The Audi seems to be going well round here with it not being a power circuit The Audi Is Better Off.

4. Predict your top 3?
Me , Ben/Benji , Scooby

5. Goals for the season?
To have some good battles on track and hopefully fight it out till the end of the season for titles but to win a race or 2 would be nice.

Porsche 911 love this car we seem to be the only two on the grid to get it to work! It isn’t fast normally over one lap but seems to be able to race as it qualifies meaning it doesn’t lose lap Speed like the rest

A full grid and a lot of new (and returning) drivers. Also, with Gaz taking a break, there will be a massive fight for the title this season.

Best. Move. Ever. The GT3 cars in PC2 are just not suited to race at Monaco. The cars are too wide, can't turn in and there is absolutely no place to overtake. Except for all the crashes, Monaco would be the dullest race of the season. Besides, The Glen is a great track to race.

With the dominant man and team in TNGTC taking a break, who is now favourite for both the championships?
Being championship contenders last season, I think Snakes Unite Racing will claim the constructors trophy. And will we see a battle between teammates for the drivers championship? Benji has shown great pace last season, while Adam has become even more consistent. In the end, I think Adam will finally his first TNGTC crown.

Car choice was a hot topic with a lot of late moves, what made you go for your choice?
We tested quite some cars in the past few weeks. We both had our sights on a different car, but both cars turned out to be one of the slowest cars that we tested. The car of our choice, the Audi, isn't necessarily the quickest out there, but it is great in corners and handles very well. And it is one of the most beautiful GT3 cars currently available!

Couldn't agree on a car with Nathan, or wouldn't agree to drive the porsche, depending on how you look at it....
The merc felt good and Dean helps me out a bunch with setups, so we swapped teammates and now everyone's happy!!!(apart from possibly dean)

Snakes Unite for sure, but will be interesting to see how ben and scooby do. As for the drivers, it has to be adam or benji, but you never know.

As frank said above, we tried a lot of cars, but we decided the audi was the best all round car and it would help us be more competitive as we learn more about it.
