I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Well my first proper race round here at RD has gone quite well TBH. In qualifying for the feature race i hit my best lap in the Ferrari but we couldn't match everyone else through the middle sector as our car is rubbish on those high kerbs. The race was a poor showing as the PSI was through the roof on the tires and i spun multiple times, eventually retiring.

The sprint race was almost perfect as i had taken pole and streaked away from Robert and had a healthy 6 second gap by Lap 11, but when boyraxer made a pass on Robert i made a mistake myself at turn 3 costing me 3 seconds and i thought he may be able to catch me up. But i kept composed and made no mistakes from then on in to take my first win here.

Still trying to see where my pace is compared to everyone but SPA should be a track which sorts the boys from the men.

See you all Thursday!
So that explains why I'm off the pace at Spa.

Questions

How did you find the opening round of S7?

With no car changes allowed, do you feel you have made the correct decision on car?

Spa always throws up good racing, so what are your expectations going into it?

BMW Base (works well at Spa)
A lot of power, not much weight in the back and crap brakes. Basically point it straight and keep your foot flat and smile as you pass everyone on the straights.

No Need ha ive already experienced how fast it is on the straights especially with slipstream be a hard car to beat here. but the Audi seems better in the turns so hopefully be a good race

Not well car change to late (blame scooby) meant didn’t test in race conditions so the car was impossible

Stupid to not allow at least one change per season especially with the amount of patches we get. Hope so love the GTR

Race Liam as per

A bit disappointing, but had the high point of my best ever qualifying.

Not sure. I used to like the ferrari, but questioning it a bit now, and with not much practice time in the next few weeks i might struggle.

Always seems to be a track i have minimal practice for, so points will be a bonus i think, especially considering how op audi and the m6 are.

Quite Good. Had some great battles

Audi is great overall package, apart from the inconsistent spins it's the best GT3 option, so can't complain.
After 5 seasons of being in the "slower" cars, I feel I deserve some Over Powerness

Should be good race. M6 is very quick in sector 1 and Audi is very quick in sector 2. Spa is one of my worse tracks, so a top 4 in both races will be a very good night for myself.
