I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Great news

Finally managed to land a co-commentator for frank and would like to welcome Jaime scrafton to RaceDepartment. Jaime is a free lance comentator mainly working with nxt Gen so I think we can all hope he will add to franks already great commentary

Season 7 is just around the corner, aftr a 3 week break, what are you most looking forward to?
Hopefully having a team mate for a whole season (no offence to my old team mates).

The calendar is far shorter, do you like this?
Yes, i started to lose motivation last season, so a short one should keep me focused.

What are your targets for season 7?
Hopefully a podium, but otherwise featuring more consistently in the top 5.

If anyone want the image in high resolution, please let me know.

Sorry guys car wasn’t ready to race because of our late car choices so pulled out of the races to not cause trouble for others. Bad way to start a season and we are thinking through our options
What options?
S7 Will Not Allow Car Changes With How Short The Season Is Now, So With That In Mind Please Make Sure You Choose Your Cars Wisely As You Will Be Stuck With That Choice.
:whistling:

Well my first proper race round here at RD has gone quite well TBH. In qualifying for the feature race i hit my best lap in the Ferrari but we couldn't match everyone else through the middle sector as our car is rubbish on those high kerbs. The race was a poor showing as the PSI was through the roof on the tires and i spun multiple times, eventually retiring.

The sprint race was almost perfect as i had taken pole and streaked away from Robert and had a healthy 6 second gap by Lap 11, but when boyraxer made a pass on Robert i made a mistake myself at turn 3 costing me 3 seconds and i thought he may be able to catch me up. But i kept composed and made no mistakes from then on in to take my first win here.

Still trying to see where my pace is compared to everyone but SPA should be a track which sorts the boys from the men.

See you all Thursday!
