PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

I don't really watch any forms of car motorsports, so can't comment on that.

Mehh, not too fussed. Its got a decent flow to it, but not a track im crazy about.

They probably have some good drivers, but when people like Buemi & Di Grassi are at the front, probably not.

Far from true, V8 Supercar Series has better drivers than Formula E, As does F2 and many other categories in Motorsport. Even half if not more of the Moto GP Riders are better than the Formula E Grid plus the Racings more boring than F1 atm

The best part is, Rossi and Lorenzo have driven F1 cars and been within a couple of tenths of the drivers of that car.

I believe Rossi was only something like 2 tenths slower than Schumacher's race pace when he drove the Ferrari in 2004.

Benji: 9/10 Kept Gaz to a modest 4s in the feature, and a P3 in the sprint for a huge haul of points

Adam: 8.5/10 Took an unexpected P3 in the feature, and a P4 behind the Audis in the sprint.

Liam: 7.5/10 Threw away P3 in the Feature due to a setup error, and got caught up in Jamies accident while in P2 in the sprint.

Ben: 7/10 Mr Consistency took 2 less than thrilling races. P5 & P6.

Jamie: Not the debut he would've wanted in his Bentley, with P6 & P7.

Nathan: 6/10 Made the shock of the session by planting that porsche P2, But it only lasted a lap, before finishing P7, but won the sprint

Paul: 5/10 2 quiet P8's for Paul in both races.

very Excited. Adds a nice touch to the exciting track. Not only do you have to avoid hitting walls, you now can't see the walls and bumps ...however I put that on myself for not having my lights on

Will this race be a precession or will we see some action?

It will definitely be hard to overtake, qualifying will be extremely important. This will be a race of being patience, waiting/pressuring the driver ahead into a mistake. The driver who doesn't hit them walls will win.
Roundabout in the sprint race will be interesting, I'll make sure to have some popcorn on me.

I was testing with Ben the other night and it looked pretty cool. I'm expecting a lot of sensation from the commentator's booth!

Overtaking is hard here, but the walls are always very close. So I am definitely expecting some driver trains and heavy collisions
