PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

Had a pretty good lap. The first sector is tricky to nail perfectly.

The start went well all things considered. Scooby stayed within reach for most of the race ready to take advantage of any spins. Ended up pulling away in the second stint to finish just under 8 second ahead.

Knew it was gonna be a bad event before we even started practice, Sugo is the worst possible track for the BMW, particularly the last corner. Was going ok at first, but like last week, my race was largely affected by a spin from Matt, he lost it, i had nowhere to go. Had to pit for damage, longer stop, once i was free i was setting a good pace. Dropped behind Adam after the stops, just rolled home in P8.

Got an ok start, held my P3, Benji, Adam & I were pulling away from Matt, so i was happy. But soon Adam spun, promoting me to P2. Nathan had soon caught up, and we had an amazing battle, not long after Benji spun, so the fight with Nathan became for the win. The M6 had a massive disadvantage round the last corner, which he was trying to exploit. The last lap, it was really heating up, and up into the chicane we went side by side, and it ended in tears. Once i'd recovered i was driving, but Matt came back across to the left and hit me again. Dropped to P6, but hey ho.

Pulled all the stops out in quali, managed to do the exact same time twice.
Got an absolute snaking start, pulled away then cruised to the end. Managed to do the same time 3 laps in a row.
Then it happened..... Touched the kerb that I'd been using all week, spun me onto the grass on the inside, thought I could hold it.... Wrong. Spun again and ended up in them red and white things. had to reserve back and let my win drive past. Was determined to get back onto the podium, even thought the win was possible when I seen Liam, for some odd reason, make a move on Scooby at the chicane. Of course by my luck, scooby's car found itself right in front of me, spinning me straight into the wall.
This patch has a curse on me. Only finishing in the top 5 once in both feature and sprint races since the update.

Hopefully spa will be better, a track with long straights and high attitude, something my car..... doesn't like..... Ah.
Maybe Watkins then.... oh it's high attitude too you say? hmmm

Hello stewards stewards I'd like to post a few things from last race. Unfortunately 1st is qualy. As mentioned and photo shot, the white lines determines the track. 1st driver oz set his fastest lap in qualy whilst extending. Basically he could carry more speed through the chicane using the grass/gravel to keep him on the track. I feel he should have abandoned the lap and went again. This is put on due to the new rules and instantly they are ignored

2nd incident.

A brief description:

As you can see it' the final lap and final corner. Myself and seeks are in a battle. Unfortunately seeks ran out of fuel. However as I go to overtake on the outside on a right hand corner, he decides to straighten up the wheel??? I did not obviously loose much time I have put this in due to the fact in my eyes were lucky no further damage/ collision occurred and also it' a dangerous manouver and a blatant try to take a car out. (On board shows his wheel movements).

Brief description:
As their was multiple issues with the session we had todo a rolling start, as you can see from the video jeremy unfortunately looses it on the formation lap. As we are all lining up ready to go (the leaders have started accelerating), jeremy squeezed in ront
Of myself confusing a. Me and the ferrari to my right. As you can see it slowed us both down and caused confusion. It also as far as I'm concerned dangerous as we are concentrating on the field to go and suddenly a car overtakes and brakes. I have the impression if you spin/crash on a formation lap you must start from the back.

That is as much as I have for you this week guys. Sorry to make you work however the driving standards in this league in a few of our eyes are slipping. I thought I'd show my points this race

What is wrong with my lap? Are you insinuating that me going off track into the grass and the gravel was somehow a benefit to my lap? I’m also not sure why you took a screen shot of my post either as Adam has already stated the limit is the curbing.

Oz my main point to this is driving standards. Over the last few races they have become rubbish. You tell me in any motorsport where any of them incident are allowed?? Penalties or not driving in my eyes and others needs to improve and it was u 3 that was seen from my view.so.ur here. If in doubt back out. It' becoming bumper cars. Pm me if theirs an issue please as stewards is a non discussion page.

Steward's Decision

1st Incident involving Oz's Qualifying lap: Oz receives no penalty.
However after reviewing this incident we have decided to provide a notice to all drivers for future qualifying sessions. If a driver's fastest qualifying lap is reported to the steward's, and they are adjudged to have left the track at any point, regardless of time won or lost. Then they will be penalised with a feature race qualifying ban for the next event.

2nd Incident involving Seeks: No action necessary.
A word of warning though, to ensure that all drivers fill their cars with enough petroleum to complete the entire race distance. Also please be aware of other cars out on track at all times, especially if you're crawling towards an embarrassing and undignified halt.

3rd Incident involving Jeremy: No action to be taken.
Jeremy's driving is distracting and possibly dangerous however we cannot apply penalties for this incident as there are no rules or regulations on rolling start procedures in the event of crashes etc.

You can try to take the high road and act like your doing this for the greater good. We both you know you will run this league into the ground if you keep it up. We both also know there are many other incidents you chose not to report. Have a nice day.
