I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Had my first little spin at LeMans a short while ago and although enjoying it my frustration levels are growing with the game as well. I am still struggling with invalidated laps and have no idea why. Example... I had invalidated two previous laps so was determined to be ultra careful and had avoided any problems on the current lap but as I was on my way down the straight coming towards Indianapolis I get a message pop up from the race director telling me the lap was invalidated!! I am totally confused as to why because I was in the middle of the track, had not put a tyre off at any point of the lap and nothing from the previous lap could have invalidated the current one so what the he'll is going on  It really is messing completely with my enjoyment of the game currently so if anyone here has any ideas as to what is happening please feel free to pass them on.

Going to have to pull out of tonights race, the time difference is a killer and i have a lot on at work tomorrow so cant go rocking up on 3 hours sleep. Good luck to those running tonight. It will be interesting to see the pace in the morning

That was my worst drive of the season. I had good pace and a good setup, but failure to test for nightfall and the cold temps really put a damper on this race for me. I could do nothing to keep the hard tires warm. I made way too many mistakes and was unprepared.

I personally have found the game totally un-enjoyable. Since I was off of work for 2 weeks I played it once for an hr at Lemans and also got track penalty's in areas that did not make any sense. At this point I am seriously considering holding off on racing this game until the next patch. And if that doesn't fix this game I may start messing with F1 2017 or going the elite route of PC sim racing. It seems Pcars works fine on PC not to mention Asseto Corsa or I racing.

The only issue I had in race that was controlled by the game was the failure to put new tires on in my pit stop even when I had selected my full fuel, tires and damage pit stop. Now, when I selected it, the race engineer stated that there was "radio interference" (thanks for kicking me while I was down, PCars) and I had to request a pit stop a second time. Maybe this had something to do with tires not being put on, even though I had selected my TFD pit stop in menu?

This led to me having to drive on a single set of tires for the entire race to even be competitive. The way my race was shaping up, I couldn't lose that time and pit again. My car was shuddering on the straights like all 4 wheels were about to come off FORCEFULLY. Haha what a tough race last night. A nightmare scenario where I was fortunate to still finish 3rd in AM.

There was2 possible issues I experienced that came at the hands of the game 1st was not getting my requested tire change during a pit stop forcing a pit the very next lap since the hards where so cold in the dark the other was after the sun came up on the second day I encountered massive understeer on the hard slicks I never encountered that in testing and I'm not quite sure what caused it the last 45 minutes or so of the race I was taking every corner at half pace just to try and get the car to rotate but I'd rather be racing than waiting on a patch so I will carry on

So I practiced this race by running the full 2.4 hrs once and starting multiple attempts on my own trying to figure out the tire and psi combo before quitting out. Finally settled on front hard/soft rear setup to help with balance from the transitioning track conditions. Still the car was a chore to drive at the beginning of the race. But my times actually got faster as fuel load went down and track temp fell. Was running many laps between 4:08-4:07 from sunset to finish and the car was super consistent compared to the driver. Even with the occasional lapse of focus I manage the race without a penalty and only one slowdown. I would have liked more people out but the only other soul that wanted to race and couldn’t connect was Bar Pilot (Who will get min points for attempting). I was fortunate to get my first LeMans victory, thanks to Haveblue and Cubitt not being there.

Please don't hurt me anymore project cars, I can't take much more

Feature
Q: 1
Had a pretty good lap. The first sector is tricky to nail perfectly.
R: 1
The start went well all things considered. Scooby stayed within reach for most of the race ready to take advantage of any spins. Ended up pulling away in the second stint to finish just under 8 second ahead.

Q-10th.
Car didnt feel very good.
Race- 5th
Worked up to 7th and decided to pit early so i could get some fast laps in clean air. Seems to have worked as i gapped benji by about 5 seconds. Managed to close on ben, but only had 1 real change, but couldnt quite make it. Still well happy with p5 though.

Race -10th
Not much happened until i caught matt and ben, but spun at t1 when i looked to cut under ben. Unfortunately the fuel i used to spin back round cost me dearly as i ran out of fuel 150m from the end :'(

Still relatively happy with the results, but could have been so much more having watched the final laps back.

P.s. not sure if i will make Thursday next week.
