PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

Started on hards lost a couple places initially as the tyres got going but the realed jaime in and past matt after his spin, past Jaime as my tyres really started to work and went after dave. He did a good job for a guy that hasn’t practiced at all except getting rejected by women any way caught him and tried to pass but didn’t have the top speed and the tracks a t££t to pass on. Dave pitted which was nice as I planned to go long and use softs at the end. Went 4-5 laps longer but as I pitted I think I forgot to request a stop so as ever the game changed my pressures and I had no grip

Happens a shame after the high of Monza but nice win oz

I hate Dubai with a passion. There wasnt gonna be a fluke repeat of last seasons P2. Snuck by ben through T1-2-3, then got up to P5 when Matt spun after making minor contact into Benji. Ben eventually caught back up, but never had a serious attack. I pitted, ben tried going long, and emerged 2s behind me on lap 17 or something. I pre-empted that those 2s would go very quickly, and i would be under attack. But it never happened. There was a small chance of P4 after Adam was taken off by Seeks lag, and then a spin of his own accord.

Keeping out of trouble seemed to be the key. Ben, Oz & Jamie gave 3 free positions as they ended up in the wall out of T3. Jeremy was next, i tried goin down his inside at the right hand last corner in S2, but he turned in and hit me. So i divebombed him at the next braking zone, and made it stick. Me and Adam were working together at this point, agreeing we'd clear the slower cars and then it was game on. Indrek made it easy by spinning in T1, Seeks made a mistake at the sweeping left after the hairpin, so snuck down his inside at the right. Then finally Matt spun in the hairpin, causing damage to Gaz, nearly slipped by Gaz but he covered it. So me and Adam were running P2-3 and once we pulled away from Seeks we battled, and he eventually got me down into T1.

Keep checking back and if the game gets back up to speed for online racing something may still come to fruition here.

Even with two lobbies, the game seems too bugged to be reliable. I have been lucky, so far, not changing tires in the first two races. It may be worth waiting for the next patch, to avoid losing racers due to frustration.

Again I agree. We should see what the patch brings and give it a couple of weeks to see how it is before continuing the season.

I did have a good race though even with the first lap crash.

I think it ran pretty well with two lobbies for round 1. Max 12 people seems to be the limit right now.

• I overtook him cleanly and he drove into my bumper on the exit and continued to push me while the left side of my car was off the ground. Then he continued as if nothing happened and kept the place. I’ve never seen a incident like this in a league, ever.

I was thinking of delaying Silverstone another week. But I know @Xcoopz21X is on a Shift schedule and might not be able to make certain races if we start moving things around since I'm sure he's practiced Silverstone like a madman! I am still feel awful that @Cubitt17 didn't get any of my Party Invites and was sitting there waiting to race. I want to move forward with Separate PRO and AM Lobbies. Will two more Drivers signing up We may need to do some kind of Assessment Race to determine who needs to be where with the new drivers. Detty was definitely fast enough to run Pro but suffered a bug in the game. He would have finished second.

The toughest part of putting the Results together is we had so many People quit out. We are going to have to work on a way to figure out for people that want to get credit for running but race is ruined.

Either Drivers stay in the Lobby when Retire to the Pits or you message me before you quit and let me know How many laps you ran if you want to get credit/Points for running.
