PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

Its clear to see the championship is made up of Ferraris & McLarens, are you ok with this or would you like more choice?
No. I am not ok with this but I've seen the recent patch and it seems that BOP is far improved. As a person who chose the Bentley as I'm used to it and the stability I found with it, any improvement is completely welcome.

After Monza the top 6 are close in the championship, but is Gaz still the favourite?
You can't really have a favourite this early into such a large championship. Especially when they're this close.

Dubai has been a mainstay in TNGTC having featured every season, but does this track deserve to be a part of this season?
More of a fan of GP circuits to be honest. This layout isn't that bad either though.

7 races down, any surprises in the league so far?
There's a non-Mclaren/Ferrari on the grid starting this week.

This game is such a disappointment. I have not been on much because it brings me zero enjoyment. I was always defending the issues in P Cars 1, as I never seemed to have the problems others did. But P Cars 2 has been nothing but crap.

I apologize for the "rage" quit last night. But after practicing on Monday with the correct date and race setup, nothing seemed to carry over to last night. I loaded my setup pre race but I'm not sure it worked. After 30 mins I was already 2 laps down and having troubles keeping it pointed straight. I was not going to spend another miserable hour in game. I will not be playing until the patch is out, after that I'll determine if I continue. Again sorry for quitting out. I know my ranking goes down but it's already complete **** because of all the lobby crashing i've already experienced in public online.

I totally agree. This game has so much potential and what annoys me is i bet the PC version is way better. It's like Race Pro all over again.. if anyone remembers that heap of a game.

After last night I think its important to run two lobbies. I don't want people left out. Best plan is to have a party chat, then switch to game chat for the race.

Even with two lobbies, the game seems too bugged to be reliable. I have been lucky, so far, not changing tires in the first two races. It may be worth waiting for the next patch, to avoid losing racers due to frustration.

Started on hards lost a couple places initially as the tyres got going but the realed jaime in and past matt after his spin, past Jaime as my tyres really started to work and went after dave. He did a good job for a guy that hasn’t practiced at all except getting rejected by women any way caught him and tried to pass but didn’t have the top speed and the tracks a t££t to pass on. Dave pitted which was nice as I planned to go long and use softs at the end. Went 4-5 laps longer but as I pitted I think I forgot to request a stop so as ever the game changed my pressures and I had no grip

Happens a shame after the high of Monza but nice win oz

Sorry I didn't make it last night. Had a small emergency Unfortunately for me I got back around 8:45 and the race had already started. Hope it was a good one even tho it sounds like the bugs won again.

Apparently I was lagging for everyone, so sorry for that, but put my ethernet cable in for the sprint and seemed to be ok.

Feature i disconnected for the second time. During the race my car had crap loads of understeer so was struggling a bit and wasn't surprised I was so far back.

Sprint race - P4 XD

Decent quali as I reverted to another setup and could have gone a 2-3 tenths quicker but wouldn't have moved me up.

Race - I just stayed out of trouble, kept relatively consistent times, so well happy with my result. I said at the start of the season I wanted to get a top 5 and almost did it at Algarve, but definitely didn't expect to do it here. I'm not complaining though. Next step is the podium.

I thought Gaz had some time in the bag based on practice. Turns out he did.

Got by Gaz in turn 1 as we both slid through the corner. I thought there may have been contact, but when I watched the replay it was clean. After that I just tried not to crash every time I lifted. I succeeded on 24 out of 25 laps.
