I’ve never done a skin for Assetto Corsa before. How do you layer up the file and do you have to put specific elements into specific layers? Is there a brief guide anywhere?

BMW has just been released, so yes, it was next

next ones will be probably Peugeot and Volvo

i'm sure there are many guides how do make skins, try to look in AC skins forum

The windows on the 2 rear door use the same .dds file. Is it possible in the future, that it has separated textures? (Some times the names, flags, logos are not the same on the two side of the car.)

this has came up and we did think about it, but decided against it,

it's using the same texture and mesh as Primera, and the idea was for people to be able to re-use same one on all cars they make, so that they don't have to keep making new ones

the other and maybe option would be to make texture-able windows, but lot of people have problems with skining with alpha channel, so again, not ideal

you can ALWASY! make a custom kn5 and usign the ext_confing add it to the mod, giving you anything you want , without breaking online functionality

it's a great point, and if this keep coming up, we can consider doing something. especially if this gets requested a lot

I think the similar issue was asked for Primera on the headlights glass, the Autotrader logo , againit was done to be more efficient , smaller texture size, but it doesn't alllow non-symmetrical designs

I work on mac os so i cant just preview it in game, do the livery in illustrator and view it in 3d on photoshop lol.

haha, no worries mate, it's perfectly allowed! and in your case makes perfect sense
it has definitely some benefits to typical 2d paint approach
