You only need on of those, if you've got the cash go for the Ultra & buy a good fan.
Otherwise get the Arctic, I have it and does a brilliant job.

Simon so the Ultra doesnt come with a fan? If thats the case then I am better of getting the Arctic to start with and when cash flow improves and building pc is second nature(in a decades time) I'll get Ultra.

Artic cooler will do the job ok though, I've owned 2 Artics, they did an ok job but replaced them after a while though, but I have overclocking needs, Artic will do ya good

I am staying a mile away from overclocking at the moment.

You wont need to overclock, the system will fly all at stock, will be like lightening

I am now looking for a new case as my temps seem to go though the roof when I close the case(5 to 10 degrees warmer) and there are cables everywhere.

It will improve it a lot, but only really if you connect it properly to the speakers. With how yours is connected it won't make much difference as its only connected to the front speaker output from the onboard. If it was connected via optical or full 5.1 then it would be a worthwhile buy. Also, it needs to be a good sound card, such as a Creative X-FI Xtreme Music.

Ben, i would just stick to cases made by Thermaltake, Lian Li, Antec - also Gigabyte if its an Aurora.

Antec 1200 is huge, and will give good temps because it has so many fans.

I would go for either that or the cheaper Thermaltake Armour.

Crossfire vrs SLI

Price vrs Perfomance.

Should I stick with ATI, that 4870 card is on the mark with my budget, checked a GTX280 and I will need to start robbing banks to own one. But I also read that the GTX280 is way better than 4870. I just need to be slightly future proofed with the MOBO as maybe I'll be using multiple screens for racing.

Update: Buying the Arctic fan today. And missed delivery of Case and Ram yesterday, gutted.
