@Soeren, normally you would add read me or post a set of step by step instructions for installation. If your going to add this stuff great, many will welcome it but think about all users not just those who can work it out off the bat. What's more amazing is a Staff Member is posting here and I still see no step by step instructions. It takes some forethought so everyone can use and enjoy this program with no dramas not just those blessed with good programming skills.
What do you want me to do? It has nothing to do with programing skills. If you can read, all the info is to be found. Just read a bit more then just this thread.

Read this information in this topic first:

Take a look at the 3 files in the Saturday event of the racing club. If you download those, and open the mod manager, the Racing club mod is stated as a problem mod as well. When you install the other 2 packages, the mod suddenly is not a problem mod anymore, but installable.

Then take a look in the topic I mention, and there you find this:

Download and install instructions.

Download these 3 files:
1 - Track Snetterton
2 - Vehicle overview (Classic F2 cars)
3 - The mod file.

Put them in the package folder of your rfactor install, and open the mod manager (start rfactor launcher, and select MANAGE MODS)
You should have a "problem mod" mentioned, Racedepartment club racing. No fear, this is ok :)
Via OPTIONS, UNtick the box befor Show Mods Only
You should see the 2 first files in the list now, with status NOT installed. Click on them, and select install for both.
Go to the OPTIONS again, and select Show Mods Only.
Now, the racedepartment mod should be in the normal list, and not in the problem mods.
Install that mod as well.

Further, there is also THIS topic. Info there:
There is a difference between mods (.rfmod files) and components (.rfcmp files).

For MOD installation (.rfmod)
Just put it in the package dir, and open the mod manager. It will show there.

For Components (.rfcmp)
Put in the packages folder, and open the MOD manager. Then DEselect the Show mods only option as described above.

So before installing, look at the extension of the downloaded file to see which option to use.

Combine that with the links supplied in the previous post, and all info is there.

We are not here to give a step by step guide on how to install a basic thing as a mod over and over again. There is a lot of info around on that on the forum. We are not going to provide step by step guides in all topics. That takes way to much of our time, which we can use much better. There is also the original installation instruction which you must have read when installing rfactor2 for the first time. All the info is in there as well.

I really do not understand why you have posted the reaction above. We are working very hard here to get all info around.

So what's the job of a Staff member?
I'll try your steps provided when I'm less peeved with this thread.
Thanks for your reply.

Hi Guys,

Presenting to you the new version of LiveMonitor (v2.0.0.0)

What is LiveMonitor?

This Plugin allows you to log your rFactor2 Server session, with a Real-Time onscreen display of Drivers and Session information along with Real-Time track position of the drivers. You can run multiple rFactor2 Dedicated servers on the same machine and the LiveMonitor Plugin and DataLogger will be able to capture all your sessions.

What's new in this Version?

Auto-load option
This is a new feature of LiveMonitor. If you enable this option, after you do your configuration for the first time, from the next time onwards, you do not need to Manually start logging data like in the previous version. This will enable you to configure the LiveMonitor.exe to start-up with windows. So then it can run independently without the requirement of any user interaction.

- The log file size has been reduced
- rFactor2 is now synchronized with LiveMonitor.exe
- Hotlaps error fixed, where session information was not getting updated
- You can now view speed in MILES PER HOUR or KILOMETERS PER HOUR (viewer can select which ever they want, doesn't require server side configuration)
- LivePosition maps are much better looking now, (thanks to B1gCh0pper for a brilliant job on the map design)

How to Install?

Please follow the Installation Guide inside the package.

How to Update from previous version 1.0.x.x?

Unfortunately, you can't update from the previous version.

IMPORTANT

If you had previously used LiveMonitor, and would like to retain your Hotlaps into this new version, I would suggest you to make a backup of the "Records" table in your database. Then perform a fresh installation for v2.0.0.0. After everything is done, you can go back to your newly create database and import the "Records" back into it.

Maniac has released a first test version of his track Searspoint. Updates will follow soon, for now it's only linked to the Meganes. All credits go to Maniac.

Information is from ISI Forum, source here.

My purpose of releasing this test version is to test the packaging/mod system for rf2.

It is a complete rfmod package that includes the track and a reference to the Meganes. It also contains an update.

It's setup to use the Full Course, sometime soon I will upload a virtual mod for the FR3.5's on the INDYCAR Course and the Vintage F1's on the NASCAR Course. That should give a nice variation of the different layouts. But for now, I'll just start with the Megane's to make sure everything is ok.

There is no need to report any bugs or missing things, as there has already been a lot done since this was packaged, I have been working on the animations, there has been some remapping of the terrain and new grass textures. I have also been working on adding more TSO's and improving existing TSO's. The cameras are being tweaked to remove flickering and shadows disappearing.

However, I would like to hear about any problems with installing or updating.

Anyway, here it is, I hope you all enjoy it

The main install v1.0

Megane_at_SearspointRW_v10.rfmod GameFront (Best)
Megane_at_SearspointRW_v10.rfmod

v1.1 update
Megane_at_SearspointRW_v11.rfmod GameFront (Best)
Megane_at_SearspointRW_v11.rfmod

v1.2 update
Megane_at_SearspointRW_v12.rfmod GameFront (Best)

v1.3 update (Fix grip on curbs and tire collision)
Megane_at_SearspointRW_v13.rfmod GameFront (Best)

This update is a full package and renders all previous releases obsolete. Any older version can be uninstalled and deleted.
There have been no updates added to the track, its just a repackage of v1.3 to suit the updated ISI vehicles. (hence v1.35)

Just tried this track, and it works perfectly for as far as I can tell now. It's briliant, with a lot of blind corners in it, going up and down on the track. A real nice one to try!

Sorry, the Installation instruction file was outdated. Basically the only change is that this does work with Dedicated Server.exe. I had attached a previous version of the instruction file. My bad...

I tried your method, it seems pretty straight forward but for what ever reason it does not work, in fact mod manager kept crashing. I'll give this one a miss and wait for something more official from ISI.

The surroundings are poor quality indeed. Not something you buy rFactor2 for. But the track itself is ok. I assume that, since this one is still a test one, it will be better for future release.

I create my skin for megane trophy but can not get out I followed the instructions:
\ My Documents \ rFactor2 \ User Data \ player \ settings \ Meganes2009 \ M2009_01.DDS but I've also tried out with: \ My Documents \ rFactor2 \ User Data \ player \ settings \ Meganes2009 \ 1.0 \ M2009_01.DDS and neither does anyone can help
