Hello.. I wonder if anyone can help me.

How can I choose a wheel colour when making a skin... for instance a wtcc bmw e90... In the game there are a lot of wheel colours, white, gray, black, even one red..

But when I make my custom skin, the game automaticaly chooses the gray wheels..

How can I make a E90 (or any other car) with black wheels? Is there a way?

thanks.

Hello Marcelo,
Yes, there is a way, and it is quite easy. Just open a "wheel_style.dds" files from the gamedata, and you need to only mark the correct areas, and paint them, and of course after it save them in dds dxt 5 6 mipmap format. For me it is working!
But if there will be a problem for you, i can you send a black rims.

Some but not all cars support choosing a wheel color and I believe that the correct way to choose would be to put a line in the ini file that says:
wheelcolor=1 or wheelcolor=2 etc. Try each number till you find the color you like.

Downloads: A new file has been added by Leon Charmant:

Honda Accord 2006/2007 'Holland Sport'

This is my first skin for Race 07, which I made a couple of months ago.
The skin is fictional and has a notable design of bright orange, black and white.
In my eyes the colours should represent The Netherlands, so that's why I came up with Holland Sport (which, unsurprisingly, is not very original :)

I tried to look professional by putting together the following image, but I failed quite badly.
Check it out:

---------------
Installation:

Unzip the downloaded file called 'Number05'. (Right-click -> Extract files)
A new folder with the same name is now created (Number05).
Inside that folder is a folder called Holland Sport.
Copy the entire 'Holland Sport' folder and paste it in:

Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\CustomSkins

That means, put the folder called HollandSport inside the folder CustomSkins.
So in the end it will become:

Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\CustomSkins\Holland Sport

I hope you will enjoy it :)

Possible is everything :) All it takes is to open the car/helmet/body in 3DSimED and save it as direct x :) The in Deep Exploration make the adjustments you want (ie click no visible to exhausts effect and thing like that), than save as xfile and here you go, your first proper xfile:)

...could you please so kind and explain this (for an old blond man) a little bit deeper? Maybe step by step...wich files are to open in 3DSimED

I was wondering if anyone had a decent KW numberplate and the '06 windscreen logo that they could share please?

Also, what font does the WTCC use for the drivers names and numbers in the windows? Thanks!
