I have a problem with the XD, by the past I have used many time XD without any problem, but now I have reinstalled race 07, and I wanted to instal the new version of XD (with the game patched 1.2.1.9) but if I put the D3D9.dll XD in the main folder of race07 my game can't start and crash after 1 seconde.

Is it a problem of the new patched version of the game ?

Thanks :)

hi, hope this help you have to have the latest dirx.....http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35

--------------------------------------
Installation Instructions
--------------------------------------

Download and extract the content to your Steam/steamapps/User/RACE07 installation folder.
Then you need the latest DirectX 9.0c Package.
Download from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

This is required! Without the DirectX-Update the game won't start if the XD is installed.

Stardust

Stardust International Raceway is an original track created in Bob's Track Builder. Stardust hosted several of the early Can-Am and Trans-Am races in the early 1960's

We wish to thank Brendon Pywell for his wonderful Bob’s Track Builder, without which we could not even dream of building tracks, and the following individuals for publishing BTB Xpacks containing textures and objects used in constructing this track: EnnisFargis, Jay_P-666, WierdBeard, Chub Pearson, R Soul, carToon, zaxxon, austinman55, kytt, and Big Carva.
Installation: unzip to the "\GameData\Locations" subdirectory

Track History by Steve Smith:
Stardust could have been a major American road-racing circuit...if it had lasted long enough. It only lasted a couple of years in the mid-1960s, during the first of three infatuations with auto racing that have gripped the other "City That Never Sleeps" (Las Vegas); the later two being Formula 1 in the 1980s (a dreadful parking lot circuit) and IndyCar racing in the 1990s (a 1.5-mile tri-oval still used for stockcar racing).

Stardust was fast; mostly flat-out for even the hairiest sports cars. On November 10, 1968, after tangling with Lothar Motschenbacker's McLaren M6B, Jim Hall had a huge shunt in his Chaparral 2E, made worse by the fact that he was going over 160 mph at the time. The lap record stood at 1:29.6, set by Bruce McLaren in his McLaren M8A in that race, pretty fast for a 3-mile race circuit with 13-turns.

I only saw one race there, the year before (1967), when John Surtees won in his ubiquitous Lola T70. Mk III. Stardust Raceway was in the middle of nowhere, several miles from the Strip, surrounded by thousands of acres of vacant desert, scrub brush and undernourished cactus. After the racing stopped, the Pardee family bought the land. As Emil Pardee had been a guiding light in SoCal racing in the 1950s, it was hoped the track might be saved. But, like Bridgehampton, bought by an alleged "car guy," the hidden agenda was real estate development. Now, if you can locate the site of the former race track on Google Earth, you'll see it's covered with thousands of acres of tract housing, most of it unoccupied and much of it in forclosure.

Mainz Finthen 1989

Mainz-Finthen 1989 for Race07

Originaly made for rFactor by Com8.
Conversion by Neteye.

Please have a look at the original rF-Readme inside.
As there are no startlights on this track you have to use the ingame-startlight.
The bumpy road is due to technichal limitations in Evo (no tdf-files) not 100% like it's in rFactor.

Big thanks to Com8 for building this great track! Very good work!
Thanks to Hubschrauber who helped me by my first conversion.
Thanks to Ölfuß for fixing an xsector-bug.

Katzenberg Hillclimb

Katzenberg Hillclimb V1.0
Track made from scratch by Neteye.

Katzenberg Hillclimb claims to be the first track supporting the Hillclimb feature provided by Simbin with Race 1.2.1.9.

Katzenberg is a fictional 2,6km / 1,6m hillclimb somewhere in the german Mittelgebirge. Despite being rather short, it has some tricky corners which dont allow big mistakes, as this track is not a "guardrail channel" like the Simbin Hillclimb.

There are 30 grid positions. Be careful by choosing how many cars you want to allow to start: the faster the cars, the shorter the laptimes, the fewer the starters. Because when the first one finished his run, the ones not started til then wont start on the normal spot. Thats a limitation by the Race Engine. So a laptime of 1min and longer will allow a full grid of 30, 58sec a grid of 29 etc.

As i only race online and i only made the AI with BTB, i presume that the AI just sucks. And i just don't care, so... feel free to create a better one ;)

Thanks go to:

V1.0

========================

Katzenberg Bergrennstrecke V1.0

Dank geht an:
Simbin
BTB
3DSimed
GTLGroove
Paint.net
FrankyBB for the LOD
Die vielen Macher von XPacks für BTB!

V1.0
-erste Veröffentlichung

Bekannte Probleme:
- bisher keine
