did you try different team ?
I mean you can't expect to catch lead pack with a Williams

it makes no difference what team you are in. The leading pack always break away. Its an AI fault that been there for many years. I have tried so many teams and its always the same. Consequently, the race is over after around 25% of the race.
It makes racing a little pointless. Its not as pronounced on ps5 as on PC but its still there. The overall AI on PS5 is better than PC but theres still the ai breakaway bug.

Hey everyone, does this mod not work in rain? Had a horrendous immola race with AI completely trashing me after 5th place quali, ended up fighting for 20th with Goatifi. I play on 80 AI medium downforce setup and slowest mod version.

Not. Codemasters removed the way this mod was made, that's why it's obsolete.

Maaaaybe it can be done with ConstantDampingForAI, but then they slow down on starts too, but AI starts are already too slow sometimes.

My mod uses car performance files, but Kolarr's mod uses AI parameters from track files. So it's compatible except "Better slipstream" option (car files too).
