Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Unfortunately it suddenly looks like I won't make this race, so disappointing.. :(
EDIT: I could probably make it back home before the qualifying, but I kinda wouldn't want to sit on my rig right after driving home...

Hey Mika, just think of your drive home a warm up. Talking of which, are you warming up your Cortina for this evening?

A great race with Douglas and Colin which was very close and constant for lap after lap. Had to end in tears i guess, Colin tapped me and came off worse and i hit Douglas the next corner which i should of avoided and have pmed him. I had no discord or drivers name for some reason so to anyone who was trying to give me a bollocking....sorry

Steve, it was me that you knocked off. I don't have a PM that I can see, though.

*edit - found it posted to my profile page.*

We have had good racing before so no problem.

I'd like to PM one of the racers about an incident tonight but I don't know their membership name. Is there a way to search for that if you have the name they race under?

What a great race that was! Didn't practice prior 20 minutes to qualy and so lacking experience and stock setup (actually in MX5 I don't change much except tire pressure, still not good at adjusting setups) I was so much off the pace, about two seconds so I thought this will be a race in the last third. But came qualy I got more into rhythm so I was glad with my position starting third.
Race was awesome, literally I guess this was one of the most intense, exhausting (had wrist pain after twenty minutes, massaging it on the straight:roflmao:) yet entertaining and most fun race I can remember. Had so much clean, great fights, thx all involved (Arne, Hank, Wayne, Jari, great stuff!).
So doing a late stop I did the overcut and came home second, the other guys just close behind.
Congrats to Allan, awesome pace and thx all for the great racing again.
cu next time

Afaik only admins can see the linked usernames.
I'm not sure if Han and Brian can see them or if they have to ask in the internal forum and get someone who has access to give them the name.
Maybe @Neilski can help out?
He has access to a lot as is pretty quick usually :)

Well,

interesting race with a gross cock up from me in Quali where I didn´t whatch out for Roberts Hotlap and cut before him on my Outlap.

Shortly after we had contact to which I overreacted.:(

Apollogies on both accounts, Robert :notworthy:

After that some hotlapping, lost a position by doing stupid things, got gifted a position.

On P8 with lots of free air ferrarousciously cocked up my pitstop, lost four positions.

Could than follow Douglas for some laps ( for a personal best) and in the end inherited P11 because he pitted late.

On the flip side this time I didn´d "initiate contact" but have to learn to keep my temper in check next time.

Thanks to Han for "remote hosting" the event and to Brian for whatching over us.

MFG Carsten.

(Oh, almost forgot: this time Allan beat my laptime by a whopping 2sec )

I was quite happy to sit behind Arne, Hank, Wayne, Jari and Thomas, I really expected there to be a lot of off’s , but those Rotters in Mazdas did not help me one bit, they all stayed on track.:roflmao::roflmao:
Funnily I said to Andrea that I was not interested in a overtake, I hoped he would stay going flat chat and not worry about defending. Hoping he would drag me up to the flying Arne, Hank, Wayne, Jari, well blow me away, he then decided to drive off circuit.
That was final proof that Mazda driver are all Rotters.
