MGP14 MotoGp 14 Career Thread

Here you can share you career info, let us know what did you achieve as a young rider!

I'm currently racing for KTM ajo, but right after Mugello I've signed for the SKY VR 46 team (what a dream!) and I will be racing for them for the rest of the season. I'm playing on realistic difficulty, pro physics, so much fun!

I just found out Milestone put Test sessions in the career, just like in real life! There are test sessions in Mugello, Brno and Valencia (I guess here you start to work on the following season), the day after the race. Well done Milestone!

Please stop spamming this thread. Nobody, truly nobody cares about people like him, mate. He's known around forums, not to mention, his work is not even good. AND THIS IS A CAREER THREAD. THANKS!
ok

Since I wrote last post here, I have taken fourth place and I have lost by only 1 point with Isaac vinales...
In second season I went to Moto2 - to Caterham AirAsia Team, after Mugello to Dynavolt GP and after (... don't remember, probably Silverstone or Brno) I went to HP 40 Pons. With Dynavolt I won in Sachsenring and in Assen, with Pons I won in Sepang, Philip Island and Valencia.
And in third season I go to Forward Racing MotoGP...
First race - 5th place in Qatar, in Austin 5th place again and in Argentina... 5th place - again! In Argentina I have a great duel with Stefan Bradl to the last straight, when I throw him to roadside!
And last race - in Jerez, I started from 17th, because I sleep through last minuted of Q1. Despite weak qualifications I promote to 10th at two first corners and beat teammate Espargaro every time and he fell!
Next I overtook Valentino and Dovi, next Pedrosa and I catched up Lorenzo.

There was a great battle with Jorge through two last laps. Overtake by overtake, a bit of impacts. And on the last corner I hit him and forced him out to outside. It was very similar attack like Marquez-Lorenzo in 2013 or Rossi-Gibernau 2005. Stoner won with Lorenzo and ends 2nd.

Here is a video from this attack :)

HERE WE GO:

First full season with RED BULL KTM AJO. After finishing a respectable 6th in the Championship, I cannot wait to see if I can actually do some damage this year. Not going to sign with any other team. If I finish TOP 3 in the overall standings, I will move on to Moto 2.

2014, Qatar, 1st Race of the season:

Qualifying: 11th

Finish: 21st

Well, there it is...a terrible opening to the new season. Couldn't find a setup all weekend long, crashed in the first corner and never recovered. A measly 21st, 0 points. Of course, the opposition takes full advantage of this...Off to America.

2014, Circuit of Americas, 2nd Race of the season:

Qualifying: 4th

Finish: 1st

A thrilling race sees me take my first victory of the season. In the end, 1.8 seconds separated the first 4 riders. Amazing stuff! 4th in the standings now and off we go to Argentina.

Miller on my muffler all race long!!

Only in the last 2 corners was I able to pull a tad away...it was enough!

2014 G.P. Red Bull de la República Argentina

3rd Race of the season:

Qualifying: 5th

Finish: 5th

Well, don't cry for me Argentina. No chance to get on the podium, even lucky to have finished 5th as only 0.293 seconds separated Vazquez from me. Marquez takes his first win by a smidge in front of Miller.

2014 G.P. Jerez, Spain. 4th Race of the Season:

Qualifying: 5th

Finish: 2nd

Rins wins it, while I was fighting off Marquez and the rest of the bunch. Top 6 within 2 seconds. Fascinatingly close race. Need to keep getting on the podium, especially after the disastrous opening race.

Marquez literally hits me in the rear...barely stayed on the bike. This would cost me the win as I lost too much time to Rins.

A tight race all the way :)

You should create topic with this great career (I mean graphics, texts etc) :o
Like your table - I don't know how did you do it, but you probably wrote a lot of numbers... it must be tired ;)
Maybe when you'll get a promotion to MotoGP, you create teams classification table (not constructors)? :D Maybe some videos? :)
Your orange '78 number should have white outline, shouldn't it? I think it will be prettier.
Respect for the career!

2014 G.P. Le Mans, France. 5th Race of the Season:

Qualifying: 3rd

Finish: 1st

Second win of the season!! Starting to really feel the new bike. Unbelievable thriller of a race. 0.041 in front of Miller and 0.237 in front of Marquez. That was an unforgettable experience and enabled me to actually close the gap to Marquez and Miller in the standings.

A three-way battle all race long!! Marquez had to settle for 3rd in the end.

Making my move in the final corner, stunning Miller and the crowd.

2014 G.P. de Mugello, Italy. 6th Race of the Season:

Qualifying: 3rd

Finish: 3rd

Tough, tough race!! Stayed within 2 seconds of Miller and Marquez the whole race, but was never in a position to challenge either opponent. Had to settle for 3rd place... 1.3 seconds behind the duo. Marquez takes the win and 1st place in the standings due to more wins! I lost ground in the standings, not gonna be World Champion with these 3rd place results.

Finish: 5th

Marquez and Miller manifest their dominance while I am clearly headed in the wrong direction. Didn't find a good setup and was really lucky to have finished 5th. Place 8 was only 0.156 behind me. Boy, those tight races are fun and much like real life. Hoping to turn things around in Assen :)

Already looking like a roller coaster type season

YESSSSS!!!! That's # 3 for the season!!! What a race! With a 0.027 advantage this was nothing short of a photo finish. Unreal is all I can say to this race. OK, I am back on track. Off to Germany, my home Grand Prix where I hope to do especially well and make my fans proud.

Some impressions from Assen below:

It was a fight to the tooth and nail in Holland

Qualifying: 1st

Finish: 3rd

First pole of the year, but just could not hang on!! And this in front of a home crowd that was loud and supportive all weekend long. Oh well, 3rd and yet another podium. In the end it was Roman Fenati scoring his first win of the year from Alex Rins who finished 2nd. Looking forward to the summer break and after a terrible race in Qatar I have now finished 8 consecutive times in the Top 5, including 6 podium finishes (3 wins) during that stretch.

A look at the season so far...

2014 GP Indianapolis, USA. 10th Race of the Season

Qualifying: 1st

Finish: 1st

With the summer break behind us, the Moto 3 World Championship resumes in the United States. Defending my 2nd pole for the first time of the year successfully. Now this Championship is starting to get real interesting. Unfortunately, I lost screenshots for this and do not have the results in detail.

I will post pics, etc. again with Brno, Czech Republic.

2014 Grand Prix Ceske. 11th Race of the Season

Qualifying: 1st

Finish: 3rd

3rd pole of the season, but Miller and Marquez sensing the urgency in this Championship would not have any of it. Miller wins, Marquez adds 20 pts to his account, but loses 1st spot to Miller who is now once again on top. I had no chance, finishing 3.5 seconds behind the duo. But, this is turning into a 3 way fight for the crown!! I'm right there now.

2014 British Grand Prix, Silverstone. 12th Race of the Season

Qualifying: 5th

Finish: 3rd

3rd spot for the second straight race. So close and yet so far. This will be incredibly tough down the stretch. Marquez and Miller are virtually error free every time. Alex Marquez re-takes the lead in the standings...4 pts clear of Miller and 28 pts in front of me. Oh boy, off to San Marino!

5 consecutive podium finishes
