Modding Requests Thread

So we all know Perez' helmet is the wrong color on stock Codemasters F1 2013 (yellow instead of neon-yellow).

When I use the files from the Perez helmet 2013 mod (for F1 2012):

in F1 2013, it works ingame. Like you can see:

But when you get any post game animations the files are all messed up (textures, etc). Can someone make a good version / convert for F1 2013?

Could someone, please, produce the helmet used by Sebastian Vettel at the French GP Suzuka (Japan) in 2013. After all, where are the moders screens helmets?
 
Is there anyway to get a somewhat more realistic engine sound for the 1990 pack
Ferrari F92 A (onboard) while gameplaying and in the replay mode?
In my opinion the engine sound more like a V8 or a low rev V10 then the way the 90's Ferrari V12 screamed in reallife.

In games like Rfactor they managed to add a better realistic 1992 Ferrari V12 sound onboard and trackside wise :

The Codemasters F12013 doesn't even come close to it .... revs way to low before shifting to the next gear, and no special Ferrari scream to it :(

Really disappointing, cos I kind of payed for the PC 1990 pack especially for this car, expecting a realistic Ferrari V12 sound....

Any way or mod to fix that, could anyone make such a mod ?

Because if you care to look you'll see your post was originally posted in the actual MODS section, and was correctly placed in this thread "mod edit - merged into requests thread" as where you had asked, was the wrong section.

And yes you are correct, it is the reason it's called the Modding Requests Thread.

  • AI will not back out when they are on the inside at a corner
  • AI rarely (but they do) brake late and crash into other drivers
  • AI will not wait until all cars get passed when they are off the track, but will try to merge into the field

Can someone do that? Not seen yet in a AI mod.
This Notes come from the "F1 2013 Realsim mod for F1 2012 game" but the Mod owner/creater isn't mutch online atm :(

And the most Important thing. Can someone tell me how to fkn do the AI faster on Legend or can someone do this?
 
I'll ask this again, is it possible to create a mod that eliminates the camera shake upon gear changes? Look at this Project CARS video to see an example. Personally I think it looks smoother that way.

I can try and make the mod myself if someone who has worked with the camera files can give me directions, who should I pm for that?

Just a simple question:
How can we mod the driving camera.xml so we can use the cinematic trackside angle (as used in replays). While driving? I.e. as one of the views.

It would be cool to do donuts and appreciate the HD car models from outside / trackside.
